Renegade Coffee was delicious to drink but their customers service really brings down my rating.
I found Renegade Coffee one morning and ordered a protein smoothie, Indian Fog, and a burrito from SpotOn. The app let me know that it would be about 20 minutes. When I got to the shop, I waited about 15 minutes because I understand those app wait times can be off. I walked over to the right side of the bar where I was blatantly ignored. The girl wouldnt make eye contact and angled her body away from me. After a few moments of waiting, I just asked where the togo orders were. She pointed to the other side of the bar. As more people came in and picked up their food, I finally go over to the togo area on the left side of the bar. Yet again, I was ignored twice by girls who were making other togo orders. Again, they did not make eye contact and would angle their bodies away from me. Eventually the person working the register took pity on me and asked if I was okay. I told them that I placed a togo order 45 minutes ago. At which time, I found out that no one had made my drinks. So I had to wait another 15 minutes before getting my drinks. Finally, I am handed my drinks and I find out that my breakfast burrito had been sitting for almost an hour. I didnt have time to wait even longer for them to make me a new burrito so I left. When I did finally get to eat the burrito was cold and the tortilla was mushy. As you can tell, it was really a disappointing experience.
I will say that the protein smoothie and the Indian Fog were pretty good which is why it is 3 stars but the drinks alone arent worth...
Read moreI have given this place three tries, and will not return. My first visit I ordered a fruit smoothie of some sort, and it was great - no complaints! The second time, I ordered another smoothie, and they either gave me someone else's order... or they severely messed mine up. Either way, when I went back to say it tasted horrible and I don't think it was my order, I got attitude. The replacement smoothie was mediocre at best.
THEN my third visit was the final straw. I walked in and it was clearly very busy. All workers were busy making other orders (which is fine - that wasn't the problem). After waiting by the register for about 2-3 minutes I found it odd that no employee said "we will be right with you" or "thank you for waiting", which although was annoying, wasn't the problem. Employees were walking right past the register to call out orders, which would have been a perfect opportunity to say something to me... but nothing.
After 5 minutes of waiting I'm starting to get impatient. Then another customer enters and waits behind me. Almost immediately, 2-3 employees say "we will be right with you", or something to that extent. Now it's pretty obvious I'm just being ignored and completely wasting my time.
I was so offended by this all I could do was laugh and walk out, get in my car and go to the Starbucks down the road. I like to support local and small businesses, but you need to do better when there is a Starbucks at...
Read moreI really want to like Renegade, as a small locally owned business I would definitely choose this over sbux etc. I love that they are always allowing local kids to host car washes for school trips etc. They seem to be a good member of the community! Unfortunately their prices have been steadily increasing, and not just to keep up with inflation. I know we are all tired of talking about inflation and I understand the changing costs of goods and ingredients, especially for small businesses, but they have priced themselves out of the market for now at least, especially on food items. On the coffee side, I have gotten some really amazing 8/10 coffee and some absolutely terrible 3/10 coffee when ordering the same order multiple times on multiple visits. This tells me the have some training issues because the consistency is all over the place, I never know if I am going to be excited or disappointed by my order. The upside is all the employees are...
