St Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church — Attraction in Scottsdale

+JMJ...Love visiting Catholic Churches. These houses of prayer are to transport mind and soul heavenward. This Church's architecture is something interesting and I am not quite sure what one is to be mindful of when seeing it for the first time. Be that as it may, my visit here in 2011 went from curiosity to great admiration for the Church's interior. So visually pleasing and permeated with peace, peace, and peace! Anyone paying a visit should step into the tranquil atmosphere of the Church and allow time for a transformative experience. Excellent service! Fr delivered a clear message with set expectations & the parishioners were welcoming of us visitors. The only thing I'd recommend is, that if you want to receive Precious Blood, don't sit in the 1st few pews (Communion distribution could be more efficient). Suggestion to the staff (if they're interested); at our parish the priest serves only a few of the Eucharistic Ministers & they serve the rest so all are ready at the same time. ...I was in the 5th pew so I was able to receive, I just noticed that it wasn't available to others in front of me BUT maybe that is intentional & people sit in those pews for that...

Having interacted with various staff at the church regarding their "connection" with the Scottsdale Artists League, I certainly have a different understanding of God's principles than what they tried to lead me to believe. Money and prestige are so important in Scottsdale, so much so that people having enough of both "can do no wrong". I see many comments about the church's architecture, but what really matters is building on a solid foundation constituted by God's principles. All other ground is sinking sand.
