Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary — Attraction in Scottsdale

This lady is VERY rude, NOT children's special needs or Veteran friendly. She is unprofessional in that she has ZERO people skills, and therefore, should be having Volunteers field that portion of the establishment in her stead. I called to leave a MESSAGE that we would be 15 minutes late during a 11/2 hr commute, she answered and unprofessionaly allowed her frustration at my phone call to show through, rudely and confrontationaly stating that I'm ONLY to e-mail in regards to Volunteering. Which was not possible while driving in HEAVY traffic. Long story short, my special needs 8 yr old daughter was turned AWAY and not allowed to Volunteer...because we CALLED to say we would be a little late. Wow. This chic needs a Reality CHECK if ALL it takes is an ETA phone call update to TRIGGER her. If answering the phone is SO inconvenient and an attitude Trigger, let it go to voicemail!! That's what answering machines are FOR. And VOLUNTEERS. Her inability to appropriately delegate tasks according to individual strengths speaks VOLUMES of her in a 'leadership' role. What a way to treat a 100% Retired, disbaled Veteran and special needs child. I can also see WHY she had to create her own Job, her attitude is Unemployable. Her 'staff' seem pensive and cowed around her. No doubt due to her emotional instability and verbal tirades. NOT advisable to Volunteer here until this chic has her hormones, menopause, and attitude public friendly and Managed, in my professional Medical Opinion. ANYBODY can stick 20 bunnies on the floor in a room, call themselves a 'Rescue' , advertise, and get buckoo donations and Volunteers, it's not rocket science. Shocking, I know. Nothing to see here, moving along...P.S. Seriously lady?!?!? You're actually going to LIE on this level? PLEASE make the footage public!!! Everyone will see your outright lies! This definitely denotes mental instability on her part. At NO point was I EVER asked to leave the establishment, let alone, threatened with police! At NO point did this lady EVER say to me that I am " not allowed on the premises". God, The Universe, Karma, ALL see and hear your outright Lies. That's ok, Karma will handle you. I NEVER at ANY point 'threw' myself on the floor,( I'm disabled, my knee isn't capable of that!) you have GOT to be joking!!!! This lady has LOST her marbles, she's not coloring with all the crayons in the box, all her tools in the shed are not sharp!!! We arrived, she ushered my child back, and then rounded on me in the hallway/store portion part and DEMANDED that I 'apologize' to her for calling and using the phone line. (I'm STILL laughing about this). I don't play mind games, especially with those going the Greta Thunnberg tantrum route. I refused, called and motioned for my child to come from the back and we left. Very cut, dry and simple. Stop LYING, it's unprofessional and against the fourth Commandment. Last but not least, the Fact that upon our arrival this lady ushered my child into the back, and then blocked me from entering the hall and room where my child was, while falsely stating that she asked me numerous times to leave, shows an attempt at KIDNAPPING. She very Professionally could have met us at the door and asked us to Leave due to using the phone. Not separate...

We are a proud adoptive family of our two beautiful buns who were a part of the initial rescue that started this phenomenal sanctuary. We had brought home a pair prior to these two and through The course of their lives while in the sanctuary and then home with us and through the process of the rest of their life, Kelly Ames and her staff were unbelievably attentive and helpful and it was extremely evident that no matter where these bunnies were they would always be a part of the TTAS family. I really do not know where to begin or how I would describe the kindness, humility, expertise and generosity that Kelly and the sanctuary has for these beautiful small creatures. They are also incredibly supportive of the families that care for the bunnies at home. All of the financial support for this organization comes from Kelly herself. The wonderful donations that come from families that love this place are what keeps this going. I know of no other organization that is so selfless. She steps in to help for other rescue animals when no one else will or is able to. Her ability to care for these animals is unrivaled and the volunteer opportunities are so wonderful as she is patient and takes the time with anyone who would like to come and spend time learning about the care and protection of these animals. She deserves the highest accolade and this organization is second to none. We are so grateful for her and the staff and for all...

I decided to go with my 10 year old son because he loves bunnies. I guess I was expecting to go and be able to see the bunnies and have him learn a thing or two seeing that’s it’s a Sanctuary. Low and behold it’s a thrift store to benefit the bunnies that you can look at through a glass door but cannot actually see, pet or learn about. My son was pretty disappointed as he was so excited to see and learn about bunnies. We were told we couldn’t see the bunnies as she had no staff. But seeing as there were no people in the store besides some man putting out more thrust stuff to sell. I didn’t see why she couldn’t have brought us back for a few minutes. No one was there. And not sure how busy the store is. Maybe if she put the focus back in the bunnies instead of selling junk this could be a reputable sanctuary. But it’s just a thrift store with bunnies...
