Gertrude Hawk Chocolates — Attraction in Scranton

Perfect milk chocolate, that melts in your mouth even when frozen when stored at home, (other brands' milk chocolate will freeze when placed in freezer). Very organized, clean store where merchandise is thoughtfully placed in patterns & displayed [not like Wal-Mart shelves' grid]. Feels kind of like a country store, or farm stand/store, or country candy shop. Lady 'behind' the counter actually walked out and assisted me & talked with my 2 children. She wasn't rude either when I asked her where to find item-that-was-in-front-of-me. Felt happy spending money there....

They have very delicious chocolate. But WOW have their prices spike! And I love dark chocolate pretzels but I couldn't find them anywhere except behind the counter. They have milk chocolate ones...blah. I did buy treats for my family but I was not about to pay a ridiculous price for just a...

Always nice but sadly they have got rid of the best products they offered or don't make them enough anyways. for example the coco bons were to die for & they stopped making them for some reason! .... & didn't have truffles made for Christmas..... Hopefully they make...
