If you’re in the area and looking for less of a crowd, swing on by the Townsend Inlet for great fishing, seashells, and beach fun. There is a free parking right before the bridge on the Sea Isle side with a path that leads under the bridge. To the right is a small stretch of beach where there are tons of full, unbroken shells. The water is more calm and has a gradual sand bar you can wade out to. To the left is a wider part of the beach however there is a steep drop into the water. ⚠️Caution if you have young kids ⚠️ as boats can cause decent sized waves. Also, lots of fish hang out here too so grab your piles and worms 😀

I am going to be selfish and not tell about all of the things that I love about this place ! Hint, we went back in September of 2021 and it was even better than the first time..!

Townsend Inlet is our favorite place to watch the sunset. We hired the proper picnic to throw my parents a 40th anniversary surprise beach picnic.

Great day at the beach on what we called the Jersey Shore. It is a Jersey shore but don't think it's 'the' Jersey Shore. 😆 Found a few beach treasures and breathed in alot of ocean air. We took our dog because there were no signs stating we couldn't. She had...
