If you’re in the area and looking for less of a crowd, swing on by the Townsend Inlet for great fishing, seashells, and beach fun. There is a free parking right before the bridge on the Sea Isle side with a path that leads under the bridge. To the right is a small stretch of beach where there are tons of full, unbroken shells. The water is more calm and has a gradual sand bar you can wade out to. To the left is a wider part of the beach however there is a steep drop into the water. ⚠️Caution if you have young kids ⚠️ as boats can cause decent sized waves.
