Center On the Square — Attraction in Searcy

First time to ever go. I purchased the tickets online and it was easy. Got an email stating that I did not need to print my tickets, my name would be at the front door. After searching many times.... she finally found my name. There wasn't but 2 1/2 pages to look through. Several people who were regulars so it shouldn't have been so hard to find my name. We seated ourselves... no usher, not knowing where we were going.... finally found our table. Found salads waiting on us. I am allergic to cucumber, so I mentioned to the waiter and asked for one without cucumbers. He then replied that he would not be serving us any food because the meat had already gotten cold and he was sorry. We did not know that you were supposed to arrive early to eat. It did not say that anywhere on the email. My husband then spoke with the lady who checked us in. She stated that the manager would meet with us before the show or call us the next day to talk about a refund. We didn't speak to a manager before the play, so I will wait to see if I get contacted. We were told that it could get reduced to the price of just the show ticket without the meal. Which is fine. We were offered different items to drink other than water. But since we are hoping to only pay the show price we didn't accept. We were hungry while the show was going.... which was a distraction. We got sleepy. The play was good for small town acting. Some were great in their roles and some were not, making it just Okay. Wish I could give a recommendation for the entire experience. But for now I will say.... Eat before you go and just pay for the price of the show. Update I did receive a call from Administration in Center On The Square. I forwarded a copy of the email that was sent to me. They found the error and are going to fix it. They are also refunding the price of the meal. The ladies I corresponded with were most helpful and easy to speak to, had great customer...

Murder in the Heir, the current dinner theater play was very funny. I discovered I was no good at figuring out who done it. The cast kept us laughing, even the promo skit done for the corporate sponsor before the play started had me rolling.

Dinner, if you choose that option was served family style, and was pretty good too.
