This is in response to the owner; thank you for your response to my post I left yesterday, it is a replica of all the responses you have given to those that have left you 1 star or negative review. You make the customer out to be in the wrong, all of us on here that have left a negative response cannot be all in the wrong! When the owner of a business tells an 11 year old little girl that the go-carts are like driving a car, there is something wrong with this picture. Eleven year old's can't drive! Maybe you should consider changing the age to 16, last time I checked, that was the legal age. I have a video of the whole thing, we are not liars nor are we crazy people, she was removed because a black number 11 car, with a young boy about the same age, hit her from the back, forcing her off the rode and caused 3 other cars to bump into each other. The signs clearly state "Absolutely No Bumping" the number 11 car should have been taken out. Oh yes, she read the release form completely, she is very competent, she even asked for a helmet, the response was, we don't have helmets. Take responsibility as an owner and make changes, take a class on how you should be treating your customers, you have many negative reviews on other sites that have said many of the same things. Stop the blame game! BTW Ken & Karen are names given rude individuals. (here was my post yesterday) Please don't waste your time or money, this business doesn't even deserve a 1 star. Our family visited from 3 hours away this past week, we spent $50.00 on 3 rides. From the owner who accused myself & 11 year old granddaughter of lying, to the staff that called us names (I believe their names were "Ken & Karen") This business owner, Bruce, does not care about you or your kids, they are very rude. I could write a short novel on how we were treated, it was a bad ending to a wonderful short vacation to the beach. I will leave you all with this! This little theme park turned out to be way more fun than I expected. We had a 13-year-old, a 12-year-old, and a 4-year-old with us — and somehow, all three had a great time (a rare grand-parenting miracle). Shockingly, the biggest hit wasn’t a ride at all — it was panning for gemstones. The 4-year-old was briefly crushed when he learned there would be no pickaxes involved, but he recovered quickly once shiny rocks started appearing in his pan. Beyond the rides, there are go-karts, mini golf, ice cream, and enough candy to guarantee a sugar high that will last the drive home. The park is definitely cute… though at $180 for thirty tickets, it’s also a little pricey. Still, the smiles (and sugar rushes) made it worth it.

Fun, small place. The go-kart track and cars are all new and the workers were great. The rock climbing wall was good. The roller coaster was fun for littler kids (maybe up to age 10ish). The park was under staffed when we were there, but they were all so kind and doing their best. I found it annoying to have to buy individual tickets for each thing. We weren't sure how many tickets to buy, so we ended up standing in line for tickets like 4 times. If that's how it is I wish there was more than one place to buy tickets!

Skeleton crew for staff. Overpriced and chose not to buy tickets for anything aside from go carts and mining, which was $25.00. We would have ridden all the rides, but they only had one attendant running all the rides, which felt dicey and unsafe for my family. Took my kid on the go carts and even though it's not bumper cars, the preteen kids all drove like crazy and had no sense of brakes or looking out, they literally just ran right into us a few times which scared my 5 year old and made her want off the ride. Instead of stopping the carts and making the wild kids miss out, they let them keep driving and ruined my childs experience. I'm a local, and we'd never stopped in due to being so busy most of the time. We will never return. The manager is so desperate for workers that she offered me an application. I laughed and said I'm a skilled worker, and this is for teens to have their first job, but thank you. I don't see this place surviving much longer if it continues to run as it does. Again, they lost all future business from us. The apology I got from the gal running the carts was genuine, but she could have done more, and I would have asked my manager to comp customers who had a bad experience, that's called customer service, and they lack it. If you want tix and ice cream or food, you'll be standing in the same line for a long time since it's just one person running the whole main entrance and food. It's like going to a fair without enough people to individually run ticket booths, food booths, and rides. No, thank you! They also have some general up keep needing done on the handrails and stairs leading up to the ticket window. Nails heads are sticking out of rotted wood, and anyone could easily tear skin open on that. Skip this place and go play on the beach and play at the arcade. You'll have a better time, feel safer, and not waste a crap load of...

Thought it was a nice place until the owners latest reply. I also overheard the conversation regarding the Rebekah H posting. The OWNER is known to attack all negative reviews. The Employee was VERY rude but yet the owner is attacking the customer. It was actually the "Manager" that was called but if they are one and the same then why wouldn't you simply say you were the Owner?!?!?! Hmm. Personally, if I ran this business I would have gotten on my employee the way she acted towards my customers. Guess not, let's simply blame all the customers. What is really sad is that you actually called the reviewer a "Liar" and shot for a pitty party stating you guess you'll have to put up with bad lying reviews instead of actually taking constructive criticism like an adult and using them to improve your business. Grow up, no business is perfect and if you truly care about your customers that may have had a bad experience then try to see how to improve. Don't instantly reply by negatively bashing them back and calling people liars. That makes You ( and if you are the owner) your business look bad. It would explain though the way you act why you'd allow your employees to treat guests the same. We are locals and will not be going back with any guests and will advise those we know to avoid this establishment. Unless......the owner grows up and...
