One star for poor packaging and disappointing customer service!

I bought a bottle of wine, some water, and beer from Seaside Market just now. The cashier put the wine and water in a flimsy plastic bag, which broke less than 10 feet from the store. The wine bottle shattered on the pavement, and a piece of glass ended up in my foot. My husband had to clean up the broken glass from the sidewalk.

He went back in to explain what happened and asked if they could replace the bottle. They refused—a mediocre apology, no concern. It’s a shame, because simply replacing the bottle would’ve been an easy fix and a great customer service moment. Instead, it left us with a bad experience and a painful memory. We won’t...

Very friendly, easier then the only store I tow Safeway which is expensive ever since albertsons bought them which sucks cuz we are not a big time city folks but they want us to pay city folks prices 😕so the market is good except they don't carry everything like a regular store does, so when you need and don't want to go across town and deal with grouchy peeps I to the market they are friendly and will do anything to help and NOT complain bout it so friendly workers fresh food...

This store is the best in Seaside! So convenient for visitors to the beach and locals alike. Courteous, cheerful and helpful service. I would rather go here than Safeway! There is ample parking and street parking too. Next door is a restaurant. It's across the street from a quaint lodging place. Located where Ken and Son's Market formerly was.
