To visit you have to go through a security checkpoint. Just say you're visiting the Sound Garden and the security guard will give you a visitor pass and directions. A sound garden was a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. They have a walkway along the water's edge and they have a place for you to sit made out of stones. It's located behind the NOAA and it is quite a beautiful place to take a walk.

A great experience to say the least. A lot of history was made here. After talking to some local guys, i found out this was a major hangout back in the 90's before they had a guard shack. It feels so peaceful sitting on the benches at the sound garden while looking on to the water. Dont miss the opportunity to go see this wonderful part of history!!

Eerie but really cool art installation! A little bit hard to get to, you have enter thru the NOAA campus at the main gate and register with ID at a security check point. Don’t be afraid to go in, the guards are really nice and understanding. Prepare for about 1.5 miles of walk back and forth. Best if you come on a windy day!

Fell on Black Days - Soundgarden

Whatsoever I've feared has come to life And whatsoever I've fought off became my life Just when everyday seemed to greet me with a smile Sunspots have faded, now I'm doing time Now I'm doing time 'Cause I fell on black days I fell on black days Whomsoever I've cured, I've sickened now And whomsoever I've cradled, I've put you down I'm a search light soul they say But I can't see it in the night I'm only faking when I get it right When I get it right 'Cause I fell on black days I fell on black days How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate? Yeah Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh So what you wanted to see good Has made you blind And what you wanted to be yours Has made it mine So don't you lock up something That you wanted to see fly Hands are for shaking No, not tying, no, not tying I sure don't mind a change I sure don't mind a change Yeah, I sure don't mind, sure don't mind a change I sure don't mind a change 'Cause I fell on black days I fell on black days How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate? How would I know That this could be my fate? I sure don't...

Strange place, mostly from the intense govt lockdown that is imposed on the grounds. You can only visit during certain hours (all weekday, bank hours or less) and only certain buildings are open to the public. Even walking in I had to give my ID to security and go through instructions about what I could/couldn't do.

The sound garden is awesome once you get there and we were lucky enough to have the right kind of breeze to generate sounds from it (think blowing over the top of a beer bottle). When you're in the middle of it and the sounds come randomly from different directions, it does have a really cool effect. Even if there's no wind, it's a nice walk. Close to the...

Disappointed. Went to visit my family in the WA area and decided to visit Seattle. Me and my sis wanted to see this exhibit since we loved the band so much as kids. We took an Uber from downtown Seattle (took 25 mins to get there) only to be turned away by security, who said the exhibit was closed. (It was almost 5PM then, Google maps says the exhibit was open til 6, the guard said 4). Had to take the Uber BACK to downtown Seattle in rush hour traffic. Gave the poor...
