Read moreStrange place, mostly from the intense govt lockdown that is imposed on the grounds. You can only visit during certain hours (all weekday, bank hours or less) and only certain buildings are open to the public. Even walking in I had to give my ID to security and go through instructions about what I could/couldn't do.
The sound garden is awesome once you get there and we were lucky enough to have the right kind of breeze to generate sounds from it (think blowing over the top of a beer bottle). Read moreDisappointed. Went to visit my family in the WA area and decided to visit Seattle. Me and my sis wanted to see this exhibit since we loved the band so much as kids. We took an Uber from downtown Seattle (took 25 mins to get there) only to be turned away by security, who said the exhibit was closed.
