✓IF YOU HAVEN'T HAD THE PLEASURE OF EXPERIENCING THE REBUILT 110% UPDATED (that's an understatement in my opinion!) HIGHLAND PARK PLAYGROUND & SPRAYPARK THEN YOU SHOULD KNOW A FEW THINGS BEFORE ARRIVING::::::> 1.the perimeter of the entire park/playground sits on a few different residential side streets depending on which way you would be driving soon in a nutshell it's seems nearly impossible for a parent or a family member or friend not be able to have eyes on whomever from a distance 2. HIGHLAND SPRAY PARK AND PLAYGROUND IS AN ENTIRE DIFFERENT LOCATION ACTUALLY (NOWHERE NEAR EACH OTHER IF YOU'RE WALKING) FROM HIGHLAND PARK SOCCER FIELDS. (hate to admit that itty bitty bit of information has slipped my mind. . . more than once 😑🤐🤔😸) 3.ideal spot for watching sunrises & sunsets 4. when daylight starts to dim no matter the season temperatures etc. it gets really REALLY windy there so make sure to have a jacket available if needed and to secure any pop-up structures in the grass with stakes or something similar 5. I have now attended 7 different kids birthday celebrations here and each time the parent is super satisfied with their free gathering spot but regardless of your childs age there's something for everyone big small short tall brown skin white skin THE PLAYGROUND DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE EVER

Highland Park Playground has gotten 2 wonderful upgrades in the last couple years. First a spray park and this summer a new playground. The new playground has a lot of great features, swings, slides, multiple climbing structures. One of the structures is very unique with multiple rubber matts strung between 2 supports. kids can climb, bounce or just lounge on it.

Great open place for the kiddos to play! Also starting Saturday the spray park will be back on as well! Sometimes during the summer they also hand out lunch and snacks here! Bathrooms are pretty clean!

My daughter had fun at the sprinkler park, we haven't tried the playground yet. She is one year old, and got a kick out of the structure that filled it's own buckets with water. Once they were about two thirds full they would tip over and dump on the ground. The anticipation was fun for quite a few kids (various ages). There was quite a bit of excitement over pushing the button to turn on the water also. What child doesn't love a button - especially one that leads to...
