Must go! Must try! This is your sign! I’ve been training at NOMAD with Coach Manny for a little over a year. I first started out participating in the boxing classes, now I am training with the team for amateur fights. The gym is all inclusive to gender identity and age ranges. The classes are so engaging and you really get an intense workout learning boxing techniques in addition to HIIT and cardio. The coaches tailor to your physical abilities and modify to your body’s comfort level with a good, healthy balance to push you and strive for you to increase your stamina. The boxing team training is intense, but hey, if you want to pursue boxing in the ring, what else do you expect? Coach Manny also offers personal training and group classes. My staff and I held a whole team boxing class in the summer. When you join this gym, you become a member of the NOMAD family. Coach Manny, Lo and Matthew are genuine people beyond coaches and will not only invest in your physical health, but mental as well. Thank you NOMAD!

Absolutely AMAZING boxing gym. Coach Manny as well as all the other boxing coaches are incredibly knowledgeable about general fitness as well as boxing techniques and practices. Coach Manny is an amazing mentor and coach, my daughter has been on the boxing team for about a year and loves not only the sport but the discipline and team camaraderie. Coach Manny and all the coaches are always positive and supportive while offering top notch advice. The gym is a super friendly and supportive environment, come join the fun!!

My 12yo son had been begging to start boxing classes and I feel so lucky that we learned about Nomad!! He started with their kid classes, going several times a week, and after several months developing a solid foundation, now goes to the later evening classes for all ages - and though he’s one of the youngest people in those sessions, he is clearly welcomed and he is LOVING IT! Nomad does an absolutely phenomenal job of creating a very inclusive and respectful space. It’s clear that everyone is working hard (so hard!), and if you want to compete there are definitely opportunities here to take your skill to the next level. However, as a parent (and non-boxer!), I’ve personally been most impressed with how kind and supportive everyone seems to be: every time I go in to pick up my kiddo, sure everyone might be dripping with sweat!, but they are also so clearly happy to be there pushing their limits… and when the session is over, everyone seems content to linger a bit as they catch their breaths, checking in with each other and sharing the special Nomad fist bump as they wrap up. I am truly so very impressed with Coach Manny and the community he is creating at Nomad. If you - or your kiddo! - are looking for a boxing gym, I can’t encourage you strongly enough to...

Nomad Boxing Club is Ballards newest boxing gym with a legacy and a lot of heart. Picking up where Seattle's oldest boxing club 'Bumblebee Boxing Gym' left off; Coach Manny, a retired professional fighter and personal trainer with a great sense of humor and almost 20 years of experience, is helping those less fortunate reach their best.

If you're looking to get in shape fast while learning how to throw a proper straight right, this is the place to go.They offer 1 hour conditioning classes that are ridiculously fun.

Or If you're looking to really learn the art of boxing and get in the ring, look no further than Nomad Boxing Club. Coach Manny continues to condition fighters for...
