This is a small park just next to the former home of Kurt Cobain, in which he also killed himself.

There's a bench in the middle of the park that serves as a fan memorial site and is very emotional (if you're a Kurt Cobain/Nirvana fan, I guess).

It was beautiful to see letters, flowers and different items from fans from all of the world, some even years old (I was moved by no one had removed them).

I rented a Lime rental bike to come here from downtown. The trip is kinda long, but so beautiful along Lake Washington (and the fresh air was so soothing).

I took a few pictures of the driveway of his home, and suddenly the gate opened up and a car with a lady in it drove out. She saw me and waited until the gate behind her was fully closed, as she of course didn't want me to go in (which I would never do). So just a reminder to all fans who reads this to respect the owners privacy!

I love and miss you in the...

There isn't much here so don't set your expectations super high and you won't be disappointed. Basically a small local park with no parking, nice little relaxing spot overlooking the lake, but the main reason everyone visits are the benches which have been turned into pseudo shrines to Kurt Cobain. The house he lived in is next door to the park but don't expect to see it. The current owners deserve their privacy and have made sure you can't see the house. Other than that it is a neat spot to stop and checkout what others have left at and on...

I’ve always wanted to come here since I was 10 years old. After 17 years, it felt so cathartic to finally visit on the 31st anniversary of Kurt’s death. We were up early and were the first ones at the park which was nice and peaceful. We met and chatted with some lovely people who were also there to celebrate Kurt’s life. It’s nice to meet fellow Nirvana fans in the flesh and see people who they’ve touched who have traveled across the world to be there. The views from the park were incredible, I will never forget...
