Given the menu prices, we wanted to like this place. Let me first say that I am a chef. I have co-owned a restaurant,a personal chef business, and catering. I went here with my wife and son. It was not busy. The wine pour was on the low side. We waited an hour for 3 pasta dishes that could have taken 20 min tops! I could have made it quicker. We asked our "waitress" ( I call her that because she did not serve us in any way) if they could make his pasta dish without the chili. Nothing extra on it but the pasta and sauce. No basil, black pepper, cheese, or oil. She said sure no problem. My wife reiterated this again. No problem. In the meantime, our candle was not lit, no bread or refill on the wine was offered although we witnessed several other tables with it. Finally when the meal came, my sons dish had, black pepper, oil, and tons of basil. He was a champ and picked out the basil, but the pasta was still very spicy and he could not eat it. I told our waitress and her reply was a pretentious " Interesting", and she left. I fully expected there to be an adjustment on the bill when she dropped it on the table, but there was not. She did not say sorry, or thank you or anything. She did not check on us through the meal, or say the food will be out shortly. Does she realize that her salary depends on how she performs? I did enough schooling of my own employees not to waste my time on her attitude, so we left. No tip today. The service all around looked like it sucked. I will say that the pasta was cooked correctly. They need more menu choices and better wait staff as well. I don't see them lasting much longer as a neighborhood joint. Twenty dollars for pasta is a criminal markup as it is, at least nail it. I realize that these groovy children today dont want to work hard, but hire a manager to oversee. Dont be afraid to can people on the spot if they dont perform. Take it from me, its your business that you worked hard for, dont let these wannabee losers screw it up for you. Im sick of getting ripped off in restaurants. Especially...
Read moreWhere Hospitality Meets Culinary Artistry!!!!! ✨ From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, it was clear this was no ordinary dining experience. The ambience exuded warmth and sophistication, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a space that is as welcoming to four-legged friends as it is to discerning food enthusiasts. It’s rare to find a place that masterfully balances an elegant atmosphere with genuine, dog-friendly hospitality—but here, it’s simply effortless.
The real magic, however, lies in the people. My waiter Carlos was not just attentive but truly passionate about the offerings, guiding me with an expert’s touch through the wine list. His suggestion was nothing short of inspired—perfectly attuned to my palate, elevating the meal before it even began. When my dish arrived, it was a visual masterpiece, a testament to the care and artistry of the chef. The ingredients sang with freshness: plump strawberries, creamy ricotta, and fragrant basil combined to create flavors that lingered delightfully on the tongue. But the true star of the show was Carlos himself. His presence radiated joy and genuine hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure both my canine companions and I were comfortable, transforming what could have been a tired afternoon into a dreamy, memorable delight. His attention to detail and heartfelt welcome made the entire experience feel like a celebration of good food, great company, and the simple pleasures of life.
I left this fabulous place not just satisfied, but inspired—already eager to return and explore more of the menu. For anyone seeking a dining experience that nourishes the soul and gives you a bright atmosphere this is an absolute must. Hats off to the chef, and a special heartfelt thank you to Carlos for creating such a gracious, vibrant, and utterly delightful environment. This is what dining should always be: a feast for all the senses, in every sense...
Read moreI am torn between a 3 and 4 here. I had to say the experience was just very weird. The pricing, menu, and portion sizes indicated a higher end restaurant, but it was definitely not a higher end restaurant. The wait staff didn't know the entire menu, and didn't know what was in the dishes. Some of our party were pescatarians, and the waitstaff couldn't answer if part of the dish had meat it in or not. The server who brought over the dish said there was "goose toungue" in the dish, which naturally confused us because of the name, but also because this wasn't listed on the menu. When the waitstaff came over, we asked what was in the dish, and as I mentioned, they had to go back and ask chef because they didn't know. It was quiet enough for us to hear chef speak, and we again heard "goose toungue". When the staff came over, goat's toungue was left out, and so we said oh the server and chef said goose toungue, and they immediately said oh that's a plant, and described the plant, which would indicate they knew what it was, which begs the question why they would leave it out. The portions were very small, all three of us left hungry, and they were out of bread as an appetizer. The staff seemed to be brash, awkward when setting the table, and tried to clear our unfinished dishes at least three times (happened with each plate and our drinks). We were the last people there, and the kitchen was cleaning up, but even if we wanted more food, we wouldn't have been able to order it because the kitchen was done. It was just overall, a very odd experience, I wouldn't say it was bad, and the food that we did get was very good, but just not what we were expecting and DEFINITELY NOT worth the price of the meal. Would recommend if you know this going in, but do not recommend based on the food/service to...
