FYI, the shuttle for Soldier's Pass comes every 40 minutes. To walk from this parking lot to the trailhead is 20 minutes. There are restrooms here but at the time of this entry, no water station. If there is no parking at Soldier's Pass, this is the closest parking lot.

The shuttle is a nice idea, but fairly useless in its current form. It comes every 50 minutes and can only take around 25 people. Anyone wanting the shuttle beyond 25 people have to either wait 50 more minutes or walk. The trailhead is only about a mile away. We walked it with no issues. I just wish we hadn't wasted the time trying to synch with the shuttle and then stand in line only to be turned away. Since the shuttle is only going a mile, it could have easily come back to take another load 10...

Park Ranger is doing a poor job of helping people. Make sure you ask him for a number when you get there or you’ll never get on the shuttle. There’s a nice trail that you can walk to to get to the Trailhead. He won’t tell you about...
