Well this is short version .Basically me and my girlfriend are living in a tent with no vehicle and I had about 3 box's of antiques from my old place and nowhere to put them so I called up there talked to the guys as well We had actually stopped in there month before that and checked it out and told the guy I would bring some stuff up and he said ok,so today me and my girlfriend had to uber to them so $42 they all come out look at it look at us as if we were trash and in the way and said they don't sell those kind of items. That was a straight lie & they knew I didn't have a car and they knew I couldn't carry it.So I said look guys I'm walking and we live in a tent so I'm not taking it back with me so give me what you feel good about and Ill live with it.I just wanted to know what kind of ppl they was and if they didn't care and wanted to take advantage of a person here was there chance like most business owners in that area up toward pigion forge especially and they was literally 200 bucks worth wholesale i kept standing around 2 of them mumbling .I said look I don't want to waste your time he said what you take I said 100 bucks you can triple your money on it and there things in there ppl would like to have.they was perfect 1998 colman latern worth 40 bucks with the glass missing and 9 blue mason jars worth 45 at the cheapest then 2more boxs.about 80 items.one guy acted if ok the other whispered give him 40.he turned said 40 I said if you can sleep good tonight with that I live with it and me and my girlfriend walked 21 miles back to our tent in the woods cause we couldn't afford uber it already cost us 2 bucks more than we made and I even left my new tote with them that means nothing to them but it was all we had to put our stuff in at the tent to keep animals out maybe they needed the stuff for that price idk but I'm a man of my word .I try not to judge let God do that but moral of this story is never get down on your luck and show ppl cause they don't care. They didn't even give me $45 for the jars like the man on the phone said. But that's story with these guys .Personally I'd rather live in a tent anyway and be me as be like them and live in 3story house on the lake .Just my opinion don't mean...
Read moreYOU CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP! OH MY GOODNESS THEIR WAS SOOOOOOOOO MUCH! could hardly walk through without finding something that I wanted so much but realized I would have to lug it back home 10 hrs. away! LOL so I just walked through and looked for the most part and said if I had found something i could NOT live without then I would make that purchase, but I had not so I did not, ( I am not sure which one of our stops of antique stores that i had found the one thing i really wanted which was an original FIRST EVER ICEBOX!!!! I knew what it was right away because I watch sooooo many old 1800-1900 period type movies/shows. )
I WANTED IT SOOOO MUCH but it would not have fit in the truck with our other things we had to take with us (clothes lol)
So again I am not sure which one of these antique stores that this was but it was AMAZING TO WALK THROUGH!

Read morethis place has tons of stuff to look at, 3 floors of antiques. a little pricey but that’s really depending on what you are looking for. i was looking for a small chicken, $13 for a chicken the size of my pinky.(when i’m thinking maybe $5) but i got an antique horse collectible for $6 and it was in good condition. so this place in general was a solid 7/10 because they had a bunch of neat things. but the prices were about 5/10, a hit or miss with what you’re going to find. i was about to ask how much for a local bc i’m no tourist 😂 but they do have a lot of business...
