Picture it… Sicily 1924… a facility such as this was nonexistent. Was Wi-Fi a thing? Nope. Did people go to conventions? Psh… I have no idea. I’m sure Google could tell me, but it is unnecessary to know for this review.

This facility is solid. Four stars for sure! The best part is that the restrooms are clean and abundant - very much appreciated! There was not a time when I had to wait for a stall. If you’ve ever been to a busy event as a woman, you know the struggle. This convention was extremely busy with two different conferences going on simultaneously. One of them was a dance competition. As you can imagine, there were plenty of sequins, eyelashes, curling irons, hairspray, and yes, dance moms. It was a total estrogen fest. Normally this would complicate the restroom situation. This time, it was just peachy. The people that run the place roped off our area so it was exclusive to people in our field. Bonus. As you can tell from the images, my colleague and I very much enjoyed the facility. We explored every nook and cranny in between sessions in which we were expanding our professional prowess. I would’ve allotted five stars, but sadly the Wi-Fi was a little suspect in certain areas. If I were an influencer I would have been bummed. (Your call here, but AM I not an influencer?? If I were consulting a magic 8 ball, it would show “all signs point to yes” based on my photo view count alone, but, I strive to remain humble and will not adopt the title just yet.) One last thing - the men’s restroom has a baby changing station. In the restrooms I was accustomed to using, the women’s was on the left. Further down the hall it was on the right. 😒 I learned about the changing platform first-hand....

Security here is disappointing in how they handle things. If you wanted to truly enforce your rule of no outside food, then you would be checking the bag of EVERY.SINGLE..PERSON coming through the door. but you are not. So don't pick and choose what you want to enforce when it suits you, either do it or don't do it. Do you think that people aren't bringing food in here for tournaments that you all cannot supporting volume? People who want to buy will do so. People who want to bring food will do so. And people who bring food will also supplement with purchases because not everyone has the time to plan for things like this.

Additionally, yesterday I watched an old man security guard yell at a ~10yr old boy for going out the wrong door or attempting to let his mom who had a stroller in. It was such a nasty tone that he started crying. Yet I watched that same security guard ignore others doing the same thing The old man security guard and a younger security site playing on their phones rather than watching people? I mean, it took them 30 min to say something to two girls filming a TikTok on the glass doors. I watched all of this. Enforce or don't. But make a policy and stick to it. Don't pick and choose what you do just because you see something out on the open . I'm...

Went to my daughters dance compitition here. It is very specious and accommodating to for these type of activities. They also had volley ball tournaments and this seems to be the only time we have to pay for parking. So with that being said they create a dangerous and nerve racking environment by stopping each car to collect $10. We had to be here by 730am and traffic was Backed up to the hwy 66 so cars are sitting in the middle of 3 intersections blocking all traffic just because these greedy nazis are wanting to charge people to pay. I find this very disturbing and if they are going to charge they should charge all the time and set the parking lot up to accommodate the influx of cars rather than practically forcing drivers to drive so aggressive so they can get here on time. It's just a freaking nightmare and someone needs smacked...
