Its okey. -Just okey.

I traveled as a Mother&daughter (1 year old) Room: I had luck with My Room. It was clean. I brought my own portable crib so i dont know if they do provide any on request. Adding 1 more night a week Prior was smooth too over the phone. People seem to have mixed reviewes about the cleaness of the rooms.

Layout: I stayed at stone lodge. It has outdoor and garage parking, no Hybrid electric charging stations so far i seen. The whole resort is inbetween streets, so you got to use a car or shuttle to get to the main indoorwaterpark, river lodges are by this mainbuilding with the mainattractions.

Indoor waterdome is amazing and i booked mainly because i absolutely miss the Swimming pools Times that i had in germany! They do have alot of areas and For around 1 year olds you probably will only end up using the designated small children pool, except you have the nerves to go into the other pools with a small baby and hold it at all times. The wavepool is too strong, when the waves are on. The klaidoscope had rules that you need to hold your child while in their swimmingring.. i did not attempt it since it seem to be too much risky.

I was not able to bring inside the own small swimring for my daughter, where i safely can sitt her into. eventhought they didnt give me this information on the phone (brought it with me for nothing). Small kids should use free-to-access swimwests. They have then there at more stands and diffrent sizes. The Locks (to put your stuff in) are to pay and not free The xxl 22 Dollar the middle size 17. (All day, but if you just there for 1 to 2 hours you pay the same!) But you can Access them at all times.

When i first arrived there: I had to push the stroller and asked for Support for someone to help me with my stuff from the car. The receptionist didnt really know how to manage, but i ended up getting help from Concierge. Also same for the leaving. I would suggest: communication skill training for the desk people, please! This gave me a negative feeling at the very begining, when she "wasnt able to help" and is not a good start. It took a while for her to give me the information to ask at the informationdesk where i was helped at the end.

Now: my big thing about Resorts..

I basically had in plan to stay-Inn and relax, not drive out and to enjoy a full day in the resort between arriving the day Prior and leaving the day after in the morning as my long active vacation was Ending with this 2 nights-stay. To mention -i allready stayed OVER a week in this Area Prior of coming to this resort! And of course it was logic to me that they should provide some Type-a good nutrition Food. I didnt await 5 star or Taste-Contest Award Food.. BUT just some Ok-Meats, Green and rice or noodles and so on and maby a nice normal Ambiente restaurant seating with hopefully some Service or the least a Cafeteria style Nutrition with a little nicer seating! ...... NO - Absolutely not.. sarcasmwhat am i entitled to think that they would have something like this, like normal Food?Sarkasm off

I wasnt able to eat much days Prior because we been too busy going places.. now i wana be at a resort and they provide literally Swimmingpool type of handhelds that are also very expensive. 2 tacos for 12.99 ? No thank you.. pizza slice for what..5.49?? i dont even want tacos i just want normal food, i had pizza allready, NO - nothing fried again and no Fries and chickennuggets again. No sandwiches- thank you..

I stayed at the Stone Hill Lodge during 4th of July week. I was here primarily for a dance competition that my daughters were competing in. I was expecting a less enjoyable experience than Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos, considering my room cost was less than half (about $250 a night) for a family of five than that of the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. The Stone Hill Lodge exceeded my expectation in most categories and I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

Room- My room had two queen beds and a pull out couch, which was adequate for my family of five. The room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, which was adequate as well. The coffee in the room was terrible quality, so I bought my own special filters to get some Dunkin Coffee each morning. I am an early riser and I don't understand why some hotels don't have a coffee jug available from 5-8 AM. It is a small convenience that early risers really appreciate. Otherwise, you only can get coffee from 8 AM to 11 AM at a restaurant right next to the convention center. As for the room, I found it a tad narrow for the needs of my family of five. My two girls dance and their dance stuff takes up A LOT of room. There is limited counter top space and if the room was 2 feet wider, it would make a ton of difference. Also, the bathroom is tiny and has no sink. The sink is located outside the room. I will say that the room was clean and housekeeping was very gracious whenever we needed toilet paper, garbage bags, etc.

Location- The Stone Hill Lodge is the venue closest to the Sevierville Convention Center. This Convention Center is immaculately clean, super spacious, and has a great food court. In terms of things to do, there is a shuttle bus that runs at least every 15 minutes to the River Lodge which has a fantastic indoor water park and a great outdoor water park. We didn't visit Salamander Springs, the outdoor waterpark at our lodge. It seemed designed more for younger children. The indoor water park was excellent. The longest we waited was about 20 minutes. Best ride was the water roller coaster. The Lake Wilderness water Park was excellent as well. Great layout with tons of Cabanas. The park had a great lazy river, fast water slides and was good for two hours of entertainment. We didn't try out any of the activities in the Adventure Forest as there was so much to do in the area. Dollywood Water Park and Theme Parks were 15-20 minutes away. Tons of restaurants and activities within 10-15 minutes. I didn't eat much at the hotel as there were great options like The Diner, Cracker Barrel and Bellacino's Pizza and Grinders. Great hikes of the Smokey Mountains are less than 45 minutes away. White Water Rafting also only 45 minutes away.

Service- Everyone in the hotel was super friendly and helpful. I accidently left my wallet at the front desk when getting change for the washing machines (bring quarters) and the lady at the front desk tracked me down. Housekeeping staff always let me get extra cups, toilet paper, etc. Elevators worked quickly and efficiently to get from one place to another. BONUS- the gym, which was located super close to me. room, is top quality. Top of the line treadmills, tons of weight equipment, and even a pull up bar are part of the gym. I really appreciated this amenity.

All in all, this is a great value for what they charge for a room. If the room was a drop wider and they had early morning coffee, it would be a 5 star experience. I would definitely stay here again...

I rented to the room on Groupon it was suppose to be 2 queen beds with queen sleeper sofa sleeping a total of 6 ppl we had 3 adults a 15 year old and 8 year old 5 total when we get to our room 25031 it smelled so bad when we opened the door. Musky a smell I can't explain it was a room with 2 double beds not queen and a leather chair and it had a balcony. I called front desk and told them it was wrong and she said no it wasn't that if I got a room on Groupon that was what it was. So I hung up and decided I would sleep in a chair for the night. The lady was a younger lady and she was so rude not nice at all told me there was nothing they could do about it they had no rooms left. So we went swimming came back to ask for extra blanket and pillow so I could sleep in chair. Night shift was working now day shift was gone. I explained to the lady why I needed one she was so nice and kind and said would you rather have a couch I said they told me they didn't have any she said we are only at 30 percent this was on a Sunday night so they wasn't busy. She switched us thank you wished I got your name. Then go to our room 25036 and the room smells better. But when we go to bed which is still double not queen had blood on sheet and comforter. They did offer to remake the bed. And the water dripped in shower all night. But by the elevators 2 domino's pizza boxes set our entire stay worker after worker walked by and never threw them away and a dental floss pick was in hallway and never threw away. They would just walk over and never pick it up. The rooms need a little more cleaning. I'm not one to complain at all. I never give reviews but all my kids life they wanted to stay here cause it looked so nice and so fancy and I finally agreed to stay thankfully I was only out 140 something for the room by booking on groupon or I would have been really upset. But we will probably never be back. We stayed at stone hill lodge it comes with no breakfast unless you pay for it. You go to swimming lockers is 15 to 20 dollars to lock your belongings up everything you do is extra charge. Snack bar is almost 70 for 5 ppl to eat. It is very costly if your looking for a cheaper vacation then I don't recommend. If you don't care about cost then you might like it but I would try the other hotel...

Overall, I feel like the hotel staff is doing the best that they can with everything going on. They have good policies and procedures in place for COVID-19 prevention and aside from 2 gentlemen, everyone else that I encountered were wearing a mask. These men were not employees. My biggest complaints about this hotel are the same everytime...the toilet is literally right against the bathroom door...thank goodness my family is small, because if we were larger people, I'm not sure how we would fit. Also, I hate having to use the bathroom and then go out to wash my hands. So gross!! Road noise is so loud...and the vibration from people merely walking is unreal. And lastly, the beds are so uncomfortable. The bedding is great...the pillows are great...but...the mattresses are cheap feeling and anyone with hip or back issues is surely in for a rough night/morning. We come here yearly because our kids love it and we only live a couple of hours away. However, seeing as though the price of this hotel is rather expensive and the hotel itself is considered a resort, you would think the rooms would be a little more posh for the price.

Rooms: Adequate. Bathroom is pretty small, can barely turn around. I had the room with the 2 queens and a sofa, having the sofa is nice. Indoor Water Park: Inconvenient. The water park is at river lodge so we either have to shuttle there or drive over. Luckily the weather has been nice. The indoor water park is smallish. It has a water jungle gym, hot tub, surfing 🏄‍♀️ area, kiddie pool, wave 🌊 pool and a couple bigger slides. You become board quickly if you are over 12. No outside food or drinks permitted so if you get hungry or thirsty you have to pay the high prices or leave and come back. Lockers cost, currently, $10 for the smallest, which is somewhat BS that there is even a cost and that it’s not included considering I’m coming from a different section, disconnected part of the property and have more personal items I need to bring. Adventure Area: Pricey. Video games that issue e-tickets for cheap toys. Ropes Course: Pretty neat, some parts are a little complicated, more for the bigger kids.

Terrible hotel. If you have kids, then go. Of you don't then stay away. No rules about being quiet until after 11 pm. The family above us let their kids jump on and off the bed and rub throughout room from 8:30 pm until 12:20 am. Then they started again at 6:30 am. We didn't sleep at all. Complained to hotel and they did NOTHING. They told us they would ask the people to quiet down but they didn't and admitted that to us the next morning. No apologies until I finally got a call from the resort manager I demanded my money back but said they'd only give me 50% back because "they don't get involved in guest to guest issues." Quiet time is only after 11 pm. Otherwise anyone can make as much noise as they wanted. Don't go. Plus sink didn't drain, no bars in bathtub for safety, nasty gross caulking in bath, and promised a balcony with a view but got a patio with a view of a bush. Plus it's very far from parking lot to rooms. Awful service.
