Stay away from this florist!!! They false advertise their phoney 24 hr guarantee and they charge premium prices for old bouquets and try to convince you as the consumer that you're uneducated about wilting and old cut flowers!!! Never doing business with this florist ever again and I advise folks do the same if you value quality to reflect the pricing. I gave them back their wilting flowers and they still kept the $70 cost!!! Failure to exchange and absolutely no compromise by them. It's a pity cuz we're new to the area and we enjoy doing business with local establishments. I received one dozen long stem roses in a vase on August 15@ noon. It is a Beautiful and Loving gesture and I was pleased with the thoughtfulness My guy put into My special day. Unfortunately that was ruined when I awoke on August 16, to black wilted edges on every single rose... Not even 24 hrs went by since receiving these and three roses were slightly drooping over and the black wilt was even more noticeable. The vase sat on my center island the entire time. No sun, heat or pets. Upon closer inspection, I pulled out a couple roses to look@ their cut stems. The bottoms of stems were dark brown. Clearly these were not fresh cut roses but cut roses a few days prior and refrigerated until I received them. That's why they wilted black instead of brown. Cool oxygen impacts plant cells differently than fresh air which is why they wilted black. Keeping flowers in cool cases for too long does more harm than good. These flowers were cut, vased and refrigerated at least 48 hrs prior to me receiving them. Completely unacceptable!!! There is a 24 hr guarantee which Pearson's DOES NOT HONOR... I called Pearson's and spoke to a gal which informed me to bring the flowers back to them for exchange. I bring the vase of blooms to them and spoke with Jim. I asked Jim when these roses were cut and he "didn't know" and refused to honor the 24 hr guarantee as well as even exchanging them. As he justified how these roses were "good" and they may have been a little crushed during delivery which My guy didn't crush since these were wrapped by Pearson's florists, it must be the green house distributor he is blaming?! I wanted to exchange these roses for the fresh looking, unwilted roses in their display case. Simply put, the answer is "No" since Jim claims there was nothing wrong with the roses but that I was "overly critical" on the blooms... Yet the man plucked Three petals off one rose to show me how to reduce the unsightly black wilting petals. Obviously he doesn't know once you pull petals off roses, they surely won't bloom any further... I left the entire vase of roses with Jim and advised him to just sell them for $70 to the next guy since these roses have nothing wrong with them... I gave My Birthday bouquet back to Pearson's since they have no Integrity and honor as a business. My guy called Jim and asked about an explanation for why he failed to honor the 24 hr guarantee and why he refused to even exchange the bouquet... Jim went on to lie that the roses were fine... it's just laughable he was attempting to claim the flowers were quality. I've received dozens of long stem red roses over the span of nineteen years(usually Freedom breed) from various florists such as Bachman's, Soderberg's, Flowerama, Teleflora and FTD. I've never received black wilted and droopy roses especially not after just twenty hrs of receipt. This is one small business we will stay away from!!! Because the occasion was Special, My guy wanted to give Me a surprise bouquet other than the Beautiful rose garden he built for Me. I have knowledge and experience with Rose bushes and crawling roses... My rose garden consists of sixteen established Hybrid Teas (Abe Lincoln and Fragrant Clouds) which blossom 3-4 dozen every other week with their cycles where I have vases of long stem roses simultaneously for three months every summer. I have arborist background and even My roses from my own garden last 9-10 days without severe wilting and drooping and bear no loss of scent......
Read moreI had such a wonderful experience at Pearson with Erin! I was apart of a small, quick wedding, and I went to Pearson last minute, just to see if they had anything at all that I could get for the bride! I never expected to be able to walk out the same day with a beautiful bridal bouquet, AND bridesmaid bouquet! I told Erin a couple flowers that the Bride liked and a general color, and Erin made it happen, all while making a second bridesmaid bouquet that was perfectly similar and unique from the Bride’s! I didn’t expect to get what I did by the next day, let alone the same day! Erin was also so kind and educated me on the conditions needed to keep the flowers alive, and what we could do to save some after the wedding. Erin was understanding about a budget and was truly so helpful the whole time. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and I 1000% recommend this florist to anyone in the market. The bride was very...
