Beautiful place but there is no parking availability. No further information regarding the history of this sacred mound is available. Although the place is well taken care, it feels more like the back garden of the rich houses behind. I am sure this place has more to teach us about the history of the first inhabitants of North America rather than just being a nice spot to watch.

Possibly Hopewell ceremonial earthworks mound made centuries ago. Honestly surprised this was kept in this area, as it seems that Native American culture is not preserved well when expensive neighborhoods or road builders get their way. Was a relaxing walk around this mound that is right in the middle of a neighborhood. I just parked on side of road to visit.

Average size mound in the middle of a neighborhood. Grass was cut around it and you can walk around and take pictures, there are white wooden markers denoting where a structure once stood, but no other information on what that was. Not really a parking area, we just pulled over on grass.

Maybe if I understood the historical significance of this mound better, my appreciation for being there would've increased. It's kind of cool though. My friend and I walked to the top, but it's unkept, so it's not a great hangout spot. There's a big field right below however, so maybe this would make a better spot for a unique group outing for a picnic/field game. Not sure if the field is public ground though, so I guess you gotta hope that the high-class neighborhood members that live within eyeshot don't...
