First off, my first impressions of the place were good - stopped here four times the past year (not sure how long they been open). The sausage and some items were decent, I've stopped here to try difference in quality/taste. I do realize the location does not seem ideal and it comes with a premium price (property taxes are very high in the area), but given that I just want to enjoy good beef/pork cuts. I called here to get a pork picnic/shoulder cut, wanted to try out their version. Much to my surprise the price was very high (over 10 times the price of my other location). I asked for the picnic cut, when it was on the scale I wanted to retract from buying it, but didn't want to disservice the staff working and ended up buying it (over $160 for the 13lbs. cut). As I mentioned, it was over 5 to 10 times the price of other places (including local butchers) I've been going to for years. The place is decent, but the pricing is very steep so be prepared. The place is nice and the front service area staff are helpful. They do have some other items such as pickled veggies, those I have to say are priced adequately and worth it. The Sausage was decent and decent...

A friend sent me 4 WAGYU strip steaks for my birthday and they were amazing. I wanted that again but was hoping to find somewhere local. Hungarian Butcher showed Wagyu on their website so we came down from Delaware to check them out.

Friendly guy behind the counter said they only had tri-tip wagyu. Which was great because we were going to default to that if we couldn’t find wagyu. We’re originally from California and it’s our favorite smoked meat.

The guy recommended a full tri tip roast and we got it. It was $80ish for a little under 3 lbs. Zero trimming needed. There was a perfect amount of external fat. Just seasoned with salt, pepper, mesquite and special spices, BUT only a light coat. Smoked for 1 hour, flipped and did a light coat of butter to keep the dry side moist. Finished with another hour for a perfect rare center.

WOW. This surpasses any California Tri tip or mail order steak. And fed the whole family for $100 with sides. The trimming, the marbling, sweet fat between juicy layers was amazing. This will be our first choice for special occasions, guests, and any day that ends in Y.

Thanks guys! HIGHLY...

Just phenomenal! Fantastic customer service. Reasonable prices considering this is a small business that specializes in handmade, local based products. Our first time in we decided to try some basics first. We got their kielbasa, breakfast sausage, bratwurst, and of course some cabbage rolls. My mom is Slovak and grew up in Cleveland around a lot of East European influence. She said the kielbasa and breakfast sausage were the closest she has had to what she grew up with. The kielbasa was a skosh garlicky for us, but still delicious and leagues ahead of what you'd find at a commercial grocery. We are fans of Carle's bratwurst in Bucyrus, and the brats from here were very close in terms of flavor (and again, way better than any store-bought variety). We will absolutely be back! We plan on expanding and slowly working our way through all they have to offer (there's tons to choose from). If you like/love meat, are of Eastern European descent, and/or like supporting small, local businesses-you NEED to go to the...

Got a very good deal on a Valentine’s Day package, we got tri tip wagyu steaks for an excellent price + charcuterie and cake. I love the atmosphere of the shop, I got to take a look around while they got our order together and found a bunch of fun goodies to buy. Looking into their meat case was tempting too, they have beautiful cuts that I’m definitely going to return for. If you’re looking to get yourself something nice for dinner or if you want a higher quality meat I would definitely recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful too!
