Went to a free ski show and it was fantastic. Pre-show started at 5:30,with the main performance starting at 6:00. We got there about 5:00, and it was packed. Bring chairs is a must. Bleachers filled in fast and sitting on the ground is difficult to see past all the chairs in front of you. There's a pavilion where vendors serve soda, water, dilly bars, popcorn, nachos, burgers and brats. 3% surcharge if you use plastic instead of cash. Great sound system and small public beach area. Incredible skiers, from 4 years old to 50. Most of them compete nationwide. They are all fearless but when you see a 6 and 12 year old performing at a professional level it's amazing. Praise God for everything he has done and given to each and every one of us. Also , a great Big thank you for our Heavenly Lord who blessed us with an absolutely wonderful Pastor John who helped build and grow our "Hope Community Church" over the past 27 years. Now that we all had to say our goodbyes to him and his wife today , so they can help grow another church back in their home town of Minnesota , we're certainly going to miss them dearly but at the same time Pastor John will be following God's calling to another church so he can continue his mission...
