Old Glory Candy — Local services in Shawano

I had the opportunity to visit Old Glory Candy this past weekend. I have to say this might be my new favorite place to visit when visiting Shawano. I stumble across a 5 dollar bill in the parking lot in the back, then turned the corner, my 3 children shouted "CANDY!!!". I had to put my car in park and visit with them.

Upon opening the door you're hit with the warm, sweet smell of fudge. It made all the worries of the world disappear. They gave each kid a free sample of fudge, which I found to be very sweet of them (pun intended). The employees working that afternoon were very kind and greeted us with a smile and a "hello".

We spent close to 50 dollars on premium, homemade candy. I think the real takeaway is creating this memory with my family. i hope my children remember out visit to Old Glory Candy.

Extremely kind staff and a very wide selection of candy. We had such an amazing experience the other night it was a Sunday and we didn't realize they were closed. We walked up saw the sign and turned around of course to come back another day. The employees opened up and insisted we came in and did our shopping. It was 35 mins past when they closed! I had my kids rush and grab there bags of pick and mix as the employees told us to take our time and not hurry. this is one of my favorite candy shops. it’s so nostalgic for me to come to this shop, and i don’t get to come often since i live out in milwaukee. i don’t think i’ve ever felt dissatisfied after leaving this business. and after all these years i still can’t get enough of the tiger butter fudge! tracy was so helpful and genuine over the phone while she helped me place my order, despite the short notice with the upcoming holiday. thank you so much to the old glory staff and owners :) please open a store near...
