Thunderbird Casino — Attraction in Shawnee

Thunderbird Casino is a small casino. Although the casino is very small, I have found there are plenty of games (wide variety) and the air circulation is excellent. I also have noticed the bathrooms are always clean and staff tends to be friendly. If you are looking for a small casino this may be a great place for you. They have a team that is always present on the floor. There really isn't a bad parking spot. They even have multiple ATMs in this small building.

What I do not like is the casino's location. I have seen security chase after people. Many drifter-types hang around the area at this time. I would not go alone. I feel safe inside the casino, but I hate walking from my car to the door.

Sometimes this casino reminds me of the casino's we had in our state years ago. I almost always can find a machine that makes the experience fun. I do not expect to walk out of a casino as a winner; after all, it is gambling and all casinos need to make a profit. However, I can usually count on getting interesting bonuses that make the experience fun. I hate dropping money in a casino and not getting a little fun in return.

I am giving this casino an average rating because I do not feel safe in the parking lot. I do not even feel safe leaving my car in the parking lot. However, if you are with friends and want a small, fun experience in a smaller environment, I do recommend trying this...

Play here all the time that is until tonight. Put a few $100 into a machine got Down to an amount lower than what I was betting. I was alone so nobody to hold the machine I tilted the chair and left a couple bucks on the machine. Ran out to my car grabbed some more cash and by the time I got back inside a bored nothing better to do “security” guard cashed out my $ put the chair down and allowed someone else to start playing it. Since the person got security to cash out the ticket and put the chair down it left me just shit out of luck. Completely disrespectful to certain patrons while catering to the old and native ones. There is absolutely nothing good that I can say about Thunderbird Casino in Shawnee,Oklahoma I'm sorry but nothing all they have ever done in my past almost two years of visiting is ever take and close way to early and open up way to late in the day time. I would not make this anyone's fun stop.And remember this is only my opinion of the Thunderbird Casino in Shawnee,Oklahoma. As well as poor customer service, old games, small location, with really no incentives worthy of even going to play. No real payback for your visits I don't care how much you spend or how many times you have visited daily, weekly or monthly and not even yearly.
