Citizen Potawatomi Nation Pow Wow Grounds — Attraction in Shawnee

Took my families to see their annual balloon festival. It was a blast. I was surprised at how well they managed traffic and parking. The number of people that were present didn't seem to be suffocating like it is at events I usually attend. The only critique I have is that the vendors that sell food should be required to take debit card. Debit card setups are free from Paypal and other providers like that. Excellent food trucks and stands. Animal petting zoo and kiddie rides. We were there too early for the balloons to go up. They started around 7pm. Nice picnic area. Of course there is the Firelake Casino..... Always a friend...
