Dear all,
I’d like to tell you about my experience with Dr. Russell Libby and his staff. But before I start, I’d like to point out that when we’re not happy with the service that we’ve received (from anyone and in any industry) we don’t hesitate to complain and will go to any length to voice our opinion. It’s easy to complain and to throw people under the bus, but sadly if we’re wrong, our negative comments can be very costly for that person or business. Which is why I try not to write negative comments, unless I absolutely have to.
On the same token, when we’re happy with the service received, we never take the time to write a good review, most people just write, great service, thank you.
So with that said, I’d like to share my experience at Spring Creek Urology and their staff. Specifically Dr. Libby and his nurse Rhonda. I have seen Dr. Libby a few times so far, I must say that his approach is very different than most other doctors. He is direct and transparent and does not sugar coat anything, at the same time, he is very compassionate and empathetic.
He spent a long time on asking me questions about my issue and symptoms. I really liked the fact that he was typing everything into his laptop computer. I remember the first time that I met him, he said I am going to make you feel better but it will not happen overnight. The he said rather than just giving a bunch of pills to see what happens, I need to understand what your issues are and find out what’s causing them and then prescribe a medication, if you need any.
In all honesty and due respect to all the medical doctors out there, not many physicians do this, they want you out of their office as soon as possible. But doctor Libby took his time, answered ALL of my questions and at the end of each visit, he asked AGAIN, is there anything else I can answer for you? Not many doctors do this, so I find it very refreshing. I am very confident that his approach, will resolve my issue very soon.
The other thing that I really like about Dr. Libby, is that when he reviews the test results with you, if there is anything that could potentially be alarming, he doesn’t scare you, he tells you very calmly about the issue, what could have caused it and what he is going to do in order to address it. I find this very comforting.
When you trust your doctor, you look forward to seeing him, because you consider him a friend who cares about you and is going to resolve your issues.
I also need to pay my compliments to Rhonda who is the nurse that always accompanies Dr. Libby, she is a sweetheart, very accommodating just like the doctor, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. So the two of them make a fantastic team.
As for the office staff in the office that I have dealt with (please note there are several offices) there is a lady by the name of Stephanie and she has been extremely helpful as well. She runs the front office, and is the person I call in order to make appointments or if I have a question, so Stephanie takes care of all that and is absolutely wonderful to work with.
Many thanks to Dr. Libby, Rhonda and Stephanie, I cannot thank you enough for everything that you have done and do for me.

Read moreBe aware of any procedure cost, they could come out months later with a bill you have no idea existed and never explained before. Dr Shirodkar, Samir P is a great doctor but the office protocol about cost or adjustment charges is bad. I paid up front the total cost because I knew my insurance didn’t covered then 6 month after my surgery in my routine check out visit I was notified of an existing pending balance of $200 since my first consulting visit that happened 9 months before, also I got a notification of $500 I owed them because a mandatory lab test that I was not told at any moment whenever was the procedure discussed for...
Read moreThis post is directed toward the front office staff who let other people go in front of me because they had the wrong time for my appointment and even though I had my appointment card showing my appointment time and I was there before the others, they allowed the others to go before me. After the third person who came in after me was called to go back, I asked why I hadn’t been called and they had no answer, so I got my refund and left. No one called to apologize, though my wife called and got my results from the office manager, not...
