For the price and the reason we picked this hotel it's way over priced. We were looking for an indoor heated pool which is what they said they had. My wife and daughter went down to the pool the first day and it was ice cold. 2nd we got the king with a pull out bed, no linens no pillow or blankets, had to call the front desk. The plugs in the rooms were so loose you had to hold the plug in the wall. Tvs really small, couch old. 3rd and finally they didn't have Complimentary breakfast it was a paid breakfast. My wife , daughter and me with tip cost 52 dollars. French toast strawberry, orange juice, 2 eggs over easy, toast, bacon, sausage, Dr pepper and Starbucks coffee. 2 nights 300 dollars. For the room . Additional 52 dollars for breakfast.

Spend your money on the Hilton Garden Inn down the road. When we arrived at our room there were sticky notes across the hall talking about very inappropriate s*xual content. It smelled liked weed. There was car break in that morning and the entire broken window was still in the parking lot. The room was dirty with drink stains on the counter and prescription eye drops on the floor. We did not stay, asked for refund and will be disputing the charge. When we kindly told the attendant she said “good luck finding another hotel. We had already booked at the Hilton.

Despite the small room size, I was impressed by how clean it was maintained. The room amenities included a microwave, an old-style coffee maker (although I wished they provided a Keurig one), a mini-fridge, and cable TV. Front desk staff are friendly with big smiles. The lobby, albeit small, had a cozy atmosphere with plenty of space to sit and enjoy watching TV while savoring their delicious a la carte breakfast offerings. I highly recommend this property for a quick weekend getaway!

After leaving two other hotels (one vacation resort that had a roach in the kitchen and the second was going to be out of water for a day) we were pleased to find a hotel in the area we wanted at a late hour and at the last minute that was close to the Cynthia Woods Pavilion Center. The receptionist at check in was extraordinarily helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The air blew ice cold, the t.v. was a nice big flat screen with a gorgeous picture, the shower was hot and the pressure good, the toilet flushed every time like it was supposed to, the small coffee maker worked, the mini fridge worked, the beds were comfortable. The shower amenities were nice, Paul Mitchell, and the hair dryer worked fine. We didn't use housekeeping service at all because we sleep really late and didn't want to be disturbed, so I can't comment on that. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which was opened until 9 I believe. It had a limited specialty drink menu but my teens--who are the Starbucks freaks-- were fine with it. We bought breakfast once from the cafe. It was good but pricey. The hotel also has a commissary that sells snack items, non-alcoholic beverages, and drugstore items like tooth paste and toothbrushes. There is an indoor pool only (which I didn't use but my family said was fine) and a gym. The gym was opened 24/7, which would be great for someone who works out. The hotel was pretty quiet, we were in the last room by the back entrance on the first floor and we never heard people coming or going. Once or twice we heard noise in the room above us, but never when we were sleeping, and once I heard a vacuum cleaner from parts unknown, but again, we sleep late so normal people were probably up already. The only negatives I would mention are: (1) no outdoor pool; (2) vanity light is kind of dim--it was fine for my teens but I'm in my 40s and need better light to get ready, so I should have brought my own makeup mirror; and (3) they could use more outlets at the night stand in the 2-queen bed room. I think they only had two outlets in that particular spot, and we had 4 people with phones that needed charging at night (none who wanted their phones across the room) and I had a noise machine that has to be plugged in. These were small things, though, and wouldn't prevent me from staying again. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you're going to a concert at...

I won a radio contest to see a concert at a nearby venue. The promoter had made all the travel arrangements for us, so I had no idea what our accommodations would like. Honestly I was not optimistic about it, given that running a business myself, you want to give the best value you can with as little expense as possible. I was pleasantly surprised by their choice of hotel. The property was secluded in a wooded area about a mile from the venue we would be seeing the concert. If not for my GPS and seeing the sign for the hotel, you wouldn't know it was there. From the outside it looked like what you would imagine a hotel would look like in close proximity to a large event stadium. Nice, a little rustic, but not overly flashy. When I checked in I was very pleased with how the lobby area/lounge looked. Modern and well kept. It did look like the staff were preparing for a large number of guests later in the day/days ahead but they turned their attention to me right away. Got to the room and again, it looked clean, well maintained, and modern. Did a more thorough inspection of the room and found that my first impression was correct. The beds were nice. The temperature was a little chilly, after all it is Texas in late summer so A/C is a must, but a quick adjustment of the thermostat and it was fixed. The rest if the room was also very nice. Bathroom/shower area was clean, well maintained with plenty of towels and toiletries. The fitness area/pool looked very nice. We only used the pool area because if time constraints. The only issue was that the temperature of the whirlpool was only slightly warmer than the swimming pool itself. For us it was a non-issue, but other guests might have thought other wise. In and around the pool area was clean, and had plenty of towels and seating for many more guests than just the two of us. The hotel was quiet and seemed to be running well. When our stay was over, we checked out and needed to check in dor our flight and print our boarding passes from kiosks in the lobby. Unfortunately, probably due to the strong storms the night before and that morning, the kiosks were offline. The staff didn't miss a beat. They allowed me to use one of the front desk computers to check in and print the boarding passes. I was very surprised that we didn't have to wait until we got to the airport to do it. Overall a very...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL, AND MARRIOTT IN GENERAL! I am a consultant - When booking last-minute business travel on February 4th, I accidentally booked a night at this location for February 5th, when I already had a room for the same night booked at a hotel (another MARRIOTT PROPERTY) nearby. I realized my error immediately and went to cancel, but alas, I was inside of the 48-hour cancellation window (because it was the night before)||I immediately called Marriott customer service to explain my issue. I was on the phone with Marriott customer service at 8:52pm, when the accidental booking went through at 8:46pm.||Marriott customer service REFUSED to let me cancel my reservation without a penalty at this hotel even though I WAS ALREADY BOOKED FOR THAT NIGHT AT ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR PROPERTIES. I spent 45 minutes on the phone trying to reason with them. Finally, a customer service manager sent a message to this hotel location, explaining my situation and asking to honor a cancellation without a penalty. ||I called the hotel twice today, and nobody answered. I tried messaging them through the app, and they were largely unresponsive. Finally, almost 24 hours later, they sent me an email simply stating "Unfortunately we cannot waive the cancellation fee". ||As I said, I'm a consultant. I travel almost monthly - if this isn't fixed, I will never book a room at a Marriott hotel again. My marriott credit card will be canceled and I'll take my...
