Nixi City Play + Cafe — Attraction in Shoreline

We recently celebrated our son’s first birthday at Nixi City Play, and it was the perfect experience! We booked a private after-hours rental, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.

The owners, Dominique and Giuseppe, were incredibly gracious and flexible, allowing us to bring in our own decorations and food to make the celebration feel personal and special. The space itself is spotless, thoughtfully designed in a Montessori style, and truly caters to both little ones and big kids. Babies, siblings, friends, and family all had an absolute blast.

Parents especially loved the upstairs bar seating, which gave them the perfect view of the kids while they played. It felt safe, welcoming, and fun for everyone.

We are so grateful to Nixi City Play for making our son’s first birthday so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better space or a better team to work with....

This place is very clean and has really good toys for development and learning fit for the targeted age range! Only thing I would say is that my toddler is 2 & 1/2 and the only available ways to get to the slides aren’t suitable for her age. She’s unable to do the climbing wall to the big slide and the net to get to the smaller slide has big gaps between the nets and she’s too scared. Since socks are required, that also makes it a bit harder. I think an extra entrance for kids who physically aren’t ready for those would be a nice touch especially since the intended age range is so young, there might be other kiddoes who have a hard time accessing the “more fun” parts of...

I was excited to host my daughter's 5th birthday party at Nixi City's beautiful new playspace, and it could not have been a more seamless and stress-free experience! Dominique was so clear with communication and logistics, and all the kids had an amazing time playing on the indoor playlets and gym area! The adults loved the cafe inside Nixi City, and we all agreed that the coffee was one of the best we've ever had in the area.
