I ordered 2 sets of Bulwark coveralls from these guys. It was nothing but confusion from the start.
On my first trip there, I specified the coverall I wanted. I gave the lady the exact Bulwark product number and size that I needed. Im a large guy, so i knew there was gonna be some kind of up charge for sizing & some sort of lead time to get the size i needed. I was told that management would contact me once they verified pricing. That never happened.
Since I never heard from them, I stopped by a second time a week later to see what was going on. I was told they had made contact, but didn't have any information. Again, I was told someone would contact me.
Still never got a call, so I stopped by a third time to see what was going on. Finally, the order had been placed. It was explained to me that it took three weeks to place the order because this particular didn't have a credit card to use to place the order, so it had to be placed by another store. I was also given a price that each coverall was going to cost. But, due to the lead time, I was told again that someone would contact me to give me an idea when they were gonna be in. Guess what, I never got that call either.
Three months after my initial visit, I did finally get a call that the coveralls had arrived & I needed to come pick them up. Coveralls were exactly what I had ordered. But, the price i was charged was $100 per coverall more than what I was told. When I brought this to their attention, I was told that was a pretty standard price. When I asked why I was told a different number, there was just a blank expression. They asked who I had dealt with, & I had no answer because I never got that phone call from the manager like I was told I was supposed to. The only people I ever dealt with were the checkout staff.
If I didn't need these things for work & hadn't already waited as long as I had, I would've walked out the door & let them eat the cost for these things. But as it stands now, I'm the one who got screwed over. I don't even mind spending the money on things that are worth it like good safety gear, but why can't you just be up front about the cost. Needless to say, this place has received it's last dollar from me. To everyone else just be aware of these kinds of unethical...

My husband recommended I should search here for some work pants as I want to help him more with home maintenance and repairs. I'm an accountant so my wardrobe is made for business casual. I had a rough idea of what I was looking for but would have appreciated any help or suggestions.
I was very disappointed with the customer service. Aside from someone saying "hi" when I walked in, it was hard to find any employees so I could access the changing room. And even when I did find one, he insisted that it was unlocked (which it wasn't). He eventually came over and unlocked it. He didn't offer any other help like grabbing other sizes, etc. Fortunately, my first choice worked. The gentleman at the front counter said only two words to me and sent me on my way.
I was tempted to just hang my item and leave the store at a couple points. I would have rather spent money where good customer service is offered and I don't feel invisible. But I was in a rush and knew that leaving would just take longer to get what I needed.
I don't have high expectations for customer service. But how hard is it to be friendly and helpful to potential customers? I could have shopped online, saved the money and time, and had a better experience than visiting this store. It seems like a lot of other reviewers have issues with the customer...

First off, they are one of the only places in Bellingham that even carries the women’s boots required on any kind of worksite. And beyond that, the selection is much bigger than anywhere else I’ve been. Honestly, just today I called multiple stores and I drove so many places and it was super horrible and not fun.
But Whistle Workwear was fun, I can’t believe how many genuinely friendly people checked in on me and asked if I had any questions. They had answers for everything, and beyond that, they just asked me about what I do (arborist) and were able to direct me towards a boot.
Thank you so much, I cannot even begin to express how crazy af helpful the people at this location were. And I bought a pair of boots that my roommates cannot STOP ogling, oh man they’re so MAD that these are my boots and not their boots.
