A nice new building but poorly thought out drive through. This location has the worst food of any Taco Time and slower than the DMV.
I've always been a fan of Taco Time, including the north Seattle location but this store recently moved into a fancy new building and now it's really pretty terrible.
The new building is nice, except for the very strange drive through that doesn't allow you to return to the parking lot. The inside has a nice hand wash sink available in the dining room, and a fireplace that adds to the ambience. It is a nice building.
The problem is after they moved the service has become stupidity slow. I just waited 15 minutes in the drive through for 2 tacos. On top of slow service, the food has taken a very noticeable dive in quality. I would now consider it Taco Bell slop quality instead of the usually high Taco Time NW quality.
This location really needs to get it's stuff together. Perhaps hire a few more employees...
Read moreTaco Time NW is consistent in their drive thru despite the turn over of staff which seems to be on a regular basis. It is clear that customer service is their priority as they always ask the necessaries such as ketchup/hot sauce and repeat their orders to confirm. A few times they have forgotten my orders, but that is typical at any taco time (Just make sure to always double check your orders).
One of the only flaws to this place is it's parking lot and drive thru layout. The lot is tight, so I can't really imagine a day when there would be a rush of customers, as I am not sure where they would all park, or how close together every car would be. The drive thru has a sharp turn to enter into it from the North side. Every now and then if you don't get it right, you have to reverse and try again - haha :) funny stuff, but can be a nuisance if there are cars behind you.
Good things come in small packages here at...
Read moreThe food is solid but do not bother using the drive through unless you want to receive an incorrect order. Almost every order (4 out of 5) I have received when using the drive thru has been incorrect; however, when I go in to order directly from the iPad, or from a worker, my order is always right. I’m at the point where I don’t even bother to use the drive thru because I know it will be wrong. I felt trusting and used the drive thru today but forgot to check my order before I got home- it was wrong and seeing as it’s never a vegetarian (beef instead of pinto beans, sometimes chicken- no idea why) mix up, we end up not getting to eat the food which is disappointing, frustrating, and wasteful
Not sure if it’s an issue with their talk box or user error with the POS, but the restaurant needs to look in to it.
If you go in though, expect great service and a clean peaceful restaurant...
