Escape SBC - Shreveport — Attraction in Shreveport

My wife and I are experienced escape room junkies. We've played roughly 40+ rooms together. At this location, we played their Houdini and Fallout Shelter games. Both of these room themes were done up nicely. We did get out of both rooms in time but had some trouble figuring out some of their clues. For us, these rooms just didn't seem to have flow of clues from one thing to the next like what we are used to. Our game master also had to come into one of the two games several times (maybe 3 times all together?...) due to the room not being fully set up ahead of our playing time. Overall, I would say that we didn't absolutely love our experience today but we didn't completely dislike it either. While the workers were extremely nice and accommodating, the room my group did was not. We did the Mafia room. Several times we solved the puzzle and nothing happened. We would have to do the same thing over and over again or get a worker to come into the room. Most things weren't working properly, which took the thrill and entertainment out of it. While the concept is great, the execution is seriously lacking. It definitely was not worth the money spent to take our group. The only compensation we were offered for all the trouble with the room was more time in our room. Time that we didn't even need. This was easily the best Escape Room experience I have had! This was my 6th or 7th time going to one and it was extremely challenging and fun. A friend and I booked "Kidnapped" on a Sunday and Daniel was our GM who was very enthusiastic about what he was doing and our experience there. About the Room This was not an easy room for only two people, but not impossible. Lots of coordination and communication was essential, but it was REALLY fun. We had some technical issues that Daniel was willing to help us with by stepping in, quickly fixing the issue, and even added more time for us to get out due to the issues!
