I did not eat here however, I did watch all the employees work with no a/c on 8/4/2023 when i went in around 6:50pm. They had a box fan, not even a shop fan or industrial fan. And the cook, DeAndre offered to blow it my way while I wait for a door dash order. FIRST Popeyes needs to be sued for having their employees work I conditions like that. It is already 100+ outside, on top of fryers and heat lamps going in the kitchen! Only reason i gave 1 star for atmosphere. Even i started to drip swear hust waiting for my order. 2nd their lobby computers were down so they were forced to work off one computer at the window. HOWEVER, despite the circumstances the manager Makayla was friendly THE WHOLE TIME, she was quick, memorized orders at the counter while she waited for the PC to open, all whilst expo, boxing food, and even going on the line to drop food in the fryers(she said they were short handed that night which blew my mind because they were still doing better than any other Popeyes ive been in). Please excuse me if I'm spelling names wrong but DeAndre and Quan were very polite cooks and focused on getting their orders out. It killed me to see everyone(other employees too that I didn't get their names) working together efficiently IN THAT CONDITION! As a doordasher I've gone into a fair share of Popeyes and this one is always the best! I can not brag enough on Makayla the manager here for running a tight ship and keeping her composure under harsh conditions. I've worked in food and beverage for years, all positions, she is over qualified for what she has to put up with. Literally had a smile on her face the whole time and even helped customers order what's best for what they were looking for! Such a great team! They should ALLl be acknowledged for their great work! Read moreI pulled up to the drive through and sat at the menu waiting on someone to answer for close to 10 minutes. I said hello several times and received no response. There was no sign on the speaker stating that it was out of service. I finally decided to pull to the window. When I pulled up, a lady that appeared to be the manager was standing at the front counter talking to someone. When she saw me, she walked to the window with an obvious attitude. I asked her if the speaker was out of service, and she said that she didn’t hear me. I explained to her that I had wired for close to 10 minutes for someone to answer. Her nasty attitude was quite apparent. I finally asked her if she was somehow upset at me. She said no and that she was trying to find out what I wanted to order. She was very rude and was somehow upset at me for pulling to the window, I guess. I interrupted her conversation, I suppose, and should have either continued to sit at the speaker or just left, which is what it seems she wanted me to do. I understand that people have bad days, but I certainly didn’t deserve any attitude. I really deserved an apology and no attitude. Now, the food was good, but the service was terrible. This lady certainly needs an attitude adjustment and should not be dealing with the public with the nasty attitude that she displayed towards me. Read moreHonestly, I don't know what happened to this location, but....it's BAD. Pulled into drive-thru ordered a 12 pc meal and two sandwiches about 4pm. They said oh we don't have chicken cooked right now then."Asked if I could wait 15 minutes." I was like, sure, cool. Pull to the side door and wait. During my 15-minute wait time, about 6 or 7 other vehicles passed by due to no chicken being ready. But after car number 8, I see boxes being handed out the window behind me. So I walked in to ask how my order is coming along, and they said they forgot, strike 1. Waited inside, and I had to wait for now more chicken to be cooked. So I watched until I saw the chicken put in the box and sides in the bag. They gave the biscuits meant for my order to others since they forgot about me. Roughly was at that same location for about an hour. They had me the bag of what I thought was my full order until my wife looked deeper in and now chicken sandwiches. So, I had to go back in and get those cooked to complete my order. All in all, I've had a good number of bad experiences with this spot, but I never felt the need to do a review until now. This location most likely won't survive much longer, especially when a new one is about to open...
