Eastern Shores Club — Attraction in Shrewsbury

This place is an absolute disaster! I checked online, and it clearly said they'd be open until 4 pm, so I decided to take my family there. But right from the start, things went wrong. We couldn't find the main entrance, and my mom accidentally triggered their stupid alarm by opening what looked like the back door and the front door at the same time.

I called the number on their website to explain the situation, but the lady who answered was just infuriatingly rude! She had no manners and made us wait for her to show up, instead of being there like they were supposed to be during their so-called "open" hours.When she finally got there, she acted like she was the queen of the world, treating us like garbage even after we apologized multiple times. I have never in my life experienced such disrespect!

And the place itself was a dump! It reeked like an old, abandoned nursing home. Disgusting! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dump unless you want your guests to suffer through a putrid stench and the nastiest attitude imaginable. This place deserves zero stars, and I can't even express how furious I am about this whole...

I really wanted to plan an event here as I loved the space and my initial interaction with the owner was positive. Things went downhill after the first promising conversation. I was told the event date was available and menus would be sent over the next few days. I waited a few days before I had to reach back out and when I did 4 days later, the date was no longer available… there was a lot of back and forth on what was available and then my messages have been left on read with no response. Celebrated a 60th birthday with ~ 90 people at the Eastern Shores Club. Amazing experience from early planning thru the event on Saturday July 29th. Ellie's event management is excellent and her advice and reassurance was greatly appreciated. The food was delicious. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly.
