Overall, I wouldn't stay here again due to room comfort. But it sure looks nice! And the staff are wonderful. ||Room: we stayed in a Premier King room on the 6th floor. Nice enough view of Mt Si in the morning. As always, we turn down the thermostat and were dismayed to discover the lowest it would go was 68. And after a few hours in the casino, it still hadn't moved below 70. My husband and I both slept most of the night with the covers off. The mattress is very firm - not my style. The room itself is large and comes with a little couch and ample luggage area - love that! The tv is very large, also. Each room comes equipped with a fridge and coffee maker, plus a few complimentary bottles of water - that's a nice touch. Our Keurig wasn't up to the task of making any coffee in the morning, but I let the front desk know - they can be finicky when new. Beware, the bathroom is a barn door that does not mask any sound or smell. I'll be so thankful when this fad dies. Wifi was spotty in the room on only my phone - ok on my ipad. The bathroom was nice - shower has adequate water pressure and the provided soap/shower gel/shampoo/conditioner all smells very nice. Plenty of towels provided. Good power on both nightstands and desk - plugs, USB-C, and USB-A.||Booking: I booked a room originally, Deluxe King, in June for $368 (incl tax) - very expensive, but Snoqualmie is in the middle of nowhere. Last week, I checked my reservation online and it said Premier 2-Queen ADA. I called to ask what happened and they said I was "upgraded". IMHO, that's a double downgrade with zero notification. While I'm sure I was booted for a higher gambler, I do think it's rude not to notify me ahead of time. So I cancelled the room and immediately booked a Premier 2-Queen (avail on their website at the time) for $267. And was able to cancel again later when I saw a Premier King open up for the same price. It's expensive on a Friday night, but when I saw the prices were cheaper than I originally paid, I did get double annoyed that they were going to try to give me a 2-Queen ADA room. ||Staff: EVERYONE is very nice. ||Gym: The temperature was a toasty 70 degrees, so I was sweating before I even got on the machine. I believe they'll be having free weights delivered at some point to fill in the large space by the mirror. Out of the 3 treadmills, 2 were taken and 1 was broken. All of the equipment is Star Trac, which is fine. The weight machines are ok. Beware, I saw no other person wiping down equipment after usage, though there are several full wipe stands. Convenient in-wall water bottle filler! ||I had a lot of fun gambling and the buffet was pretty good, but I wouldn't stay at the hotel again. I was unable to sleep well because the room didn't get below 70 and the mattress was...
Read moreThis is in a nice setting with very pleasant employees however if you want to enjoy slots find a place in Vegas to risk your money and support the businesses that are good to regular customers. This place is packed on weekends, and steady on the weekdays, and it is inexcusable to pay any patron $40 repetitively on bonus $8 bet and higher any day of the week. Over and over low paying bonuses which suck money fast and limit your playing experience. Jackpots are handed out but only when you put the same amount in the machine. By the time you pay taxes, tip, you are still in the hole, and then some.Takes all the incentive out of the gambling risk with their mathematical formula. Enjoy the nearby Falls instead. Additionally, future patrons, consider this before making a decision to support this or any particular Indian casino, this casino and most casinos are NOT REGULATED by a gambling commission(s) and/or any other business regulations that are required by all other businesses in Washington state or the United States. They don’t even have a contact person available to file a complaint within the casino when you’re there. And because of this, this is my message to Snoqualmie Casino and IT game machine employees. YOU ARE CHEATS and EXTORTIONISTS . Facial recognition IT tools gives every bit of information of how much money you put in each slot machine. The cashier supervisor also knows how much your VISA withdrawals are and credit limit, and will turn off machine bonuses so you will go back for more attempts to win/recoop. PROFILING yes they can do it and will. Now goes the turn off switch for bonuses. If any other patron shares the same experience, I encouraged them to Contact the Attorney General’s office and file complaints. Even if they’re not regulated by the same practices, the word will get around and the place will empty out. CLEAN IT UP! Additionally, any negative review on these sites will be forwarded to other Indian casinos and you will be blacklisted from any winnings, bonuses, etc. NOTE: A lot of taxpayers money is directed towards supporting many of the issues of the tribal nations, especially in Washington state. And as a taxpayer we have every right to voice our discontent when we see our tax money being distributed to evolving cheating monopoly’s who don’t following ethical...
Read moreBooked 1 night for a weekend getaway for my husband and me. I booked a deluxe King, When I checked in , I was told we have a 2 queen room. I was never notified of this change and they told me it was an upgrade. Not sure how that is an upgrade, but oh well. Not off the best first impression.
The room was lovely, decorated great but hot! The thermostat doesn't go below 68 degrees and there is no detectable airflow in the room. We couldn't get the room below 70 degrees. I was really missing the old school, loud window units about now. The chiller in the room was not cold, so we didn't have a way to keep our beverages cold. The ice on the floor was not kept very cold either as it melted immediately, once in a glass with water. Definitely improvement needed all around regarding temperature
Service at Hawks' Peak was slower than molasses and they were not near capacity at all. Our server only had 4 tables to service and took over 40min to eat. No ice in any drinks unless you ask. so mildly warm water was not appealing. Dinner and breakfast quality was mid. Decent prices, but you get what you pay for.
Woke up at 6am with the windows creaking loudly. Not sure if this is new construction settling in, windows adjusting to heatwave, but it was loud and continued all morning. Pretty sure everyone was experiencing this and not just us on the 5th floor, facing Mt. Si.
The pool and jacuzzi were nice though. I can see the outdoor jacuzzi being a hit during the winter months. Decorated nicely with plenty of towels, nice showers and bathroom amenities.
All in all, the place is decorated nicely, has a nice lodge feeling and has a nice view. I don't need to come back again though. The service and amenities aren't worth the drive/cost. Hopefully they listen to feedback and make...
