Soldotna Regional Sports Complex — Attraction in Soldotna

Big ice! Excellent ice conditions as well. Has a rustic but sporty atmosphere. Awesome to see a pro shop in the building too. Plenty of seating and warm for spectators. My favorite thing to review other than the ice conditions at an ice rink is the locker rooms. The locker rooms here are very large (the one we used anyway) and fit a full 10U sized team comfortably. I can see it would easily suit adult teams nicely too. They are used by junior minor league teams after all. Also, this rink is home of the Kenai Brown Bears so catch a game if you can....

My kid and I took skating lessons here recently. Not once did anybody make fun of me, or make me feel uncomfortable, for not ever having been on skates. Thanks for that guys! Really.

We loved all of our instructors and had a great time. You get 7 lessons, free skate rental and 3 or 4(?) free open skate times included. Only thing is you have to use them before your lessons are over. Nobody told me that but it's fine as it's only like 10 bucks to skate. My 4 year old wants add "I love skating!" Ha- thanks again Coach...
