Panton Mill Park — Attraction in South Elgin

The staff that came out from the park district were very friendly even after I found the 2 dogs that were in the park. Left alone, I called animal control and the police. They came out. They sure enough helped the 2 dogs. I sure hope they find the person that did this. But the 2 dogs were safe after a week. Get done. Our picnic was very well cleaned. Modernized the area from just a lot of grass. Nice paths with benches and a slash pad. As for shade there's a picnic shelter, a patch of tree, and across the parking lot (plenty of parking available) there's bathrooms with water fountains. Amphitheatre is nice and modern too. Area is safe, police station located across from parking lot as well. Plenty of space to fish the Fox River. Quite a bit of river bugs, if that will ruin...

Gray place to sit & read or watch the.'water run over the dam. See the happy neighbor families playing & picnicking. Plenty of parking, a splash pad for kids.
