RK’s Bar & Grill — Restaurant in South Elgin

Do yourself a favor and visit RK’s, a lovely little bar and grill on North La Fox Street in South Elgin. I had lunch there today. The beef stir fry was absolutely amazing—I mean, melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with tender slices of marinated beef, vegetables and rice. And the service was just as good. The server, Tasha, was extremely helpful and hospitable. She was a delight, as personable as she was professional. I’ve been to RK’s many times. Servers are always very cheery & prompt. Good is grade "A". Amazing how fast these guys keep the liquid river running. Always surprises, great patio & now new parking to North & West. Friday Fish, Taco Tues. Chop suey one day. Lunch. Food every day but Mon. Guess Mon. is diet day. Owners Rick & Kari give personal touch to all customers. Great time and food. If it were not for Tony (GREAT CHEF) I WOULD give this place a 1 star rating. It's not an easy place to eat indoors at unless you are accustomed to ear banging music at very high decibals. As many other customers we took our food to go tonight. I do know many people from the area. All have said same just too loud. Not a family establishment to eat. Many tvs to view. Bartenders are great also...
