I have loved this greenhouse since the first time I visited, as a freshman (yes, long enough ago that MHC still had freshmen). It is still relaxing, welcoming and beautiful. Was thrilled to find out that new students still get plants. The staff are always willing to chat. Open to the public, free, but donations are welcome.

This tropical escape is so easy to experience when you’re on the campus. You can get a feeling of far away without having to board a plane. The collection is well-maintained, labeled and full of interest. It’s free to visit, but donations are accepted. Easy parking and convenient restrooms.

Very nice place. Half the greenhouses were closed. I would have loved to have seen the tropical plants. It was a small place but they had great things to look at. At it was pretty busy for a random Friday morning. Definately worth a stop overall.

Free entry to an absolutely massive greenhouse complete with pond and a bench surrounded by more tropical plants than anywhere else I've been in western Massachusetts. A great spot to visit while down in South Hadley, but even for my plant loving girlfriend we didn't spend more than 3 hours between the botanical walk and the greenhouse. Not a whole day trip, but 100%...

The Talcott Greenhouse is beautiful in plant variety. It's a smaller greenhouse considering the fact that it is part of a college curriculum. I did enjoy my visit, however. I also saw new to me plants and flowers. I would like to return when I have more time as there are places to sit and take in the...
