Ok so the beach parking was full and they told us to return at 1:30 when boat returned from tour. We did just that. They began to slowly let cats in as others left park we counted 7 cars leaving as the employee allowed 3 cars in..... when we got to the lady working the booth at 1:30pm... She rudely said... we are closed now. We asked her... how if many cars are leaving and you only let 3 cars in.. She was Angry and rude... said ... sorry we are closed. I am Handicapped and there was an open parking right in front of us. I pointed the empty space to her and told her. I have my Handicapped place card hanging and you clearly have an empty space. She yelled... let me do my job!!!! We are closed.... I was discriminated and violated of my handicap rights.. .. have never been so disgusted in my life!!!! Have been here many times and lever have I encountered such horrible service or employee. Will never return to y this place.. horrible staff I would give them...

Place looks like a great place to hang out and enjoy the lake. Unfortunately, we were not able to because the parking attendant was completely useless. She told us because we had trailers we would have to park across the street in the campgeound area..... when we went there to park they then told us we would have to park at the parking lot we just came from... so we went back over there and the girl (parking attendant) disengaged from conversation and told us she can't help us any further. How about just a bit more kindness and just going a little extra to recommend somewhere else nearby? We were from out of town and wanted to enjoy Tahoe as much as we could for the short duration we were there for..... Anyways it left a bad taste in our memories and will not be back anytime soon. I sure hope the parking attendant reads this or the mgmt reads this. it doesn't hurt much to be helpful in society... it's what that makes...

Zephyr Cove is a stunning beach with crystal-clear water. When we visited on the weekend, it was quite crowded, and finding parking was challenging; we ended up waiting for others to leave. Despite this, we had a fantastic time, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. My recommendation for anyone planning to visit on the weekend is to arrive early, as it gets crowded quickly. Alternatively, weekdays are less busy, but arriving between 7am and 9am ensures you get the best spots.

Parking fee: $12.00 for California residents, payable by credit card only.

Another excellent option is Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, which is wider but a bit further away. It's the most popular beach on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, and a must-visit if you're in the area. Sand Harbor offers kayak rentals, a beautiful beach for swimming, the Bridge Trail, and picturesque Ramada Point that you'll surely fall...

I love the beach alot it's always clean and great people work there the only 2 down side of this place is that its way over crowded in some place people r ontop of each other and people let there dogs off the leash nonstop and its hard to enjoy with a little kid when one is running around splashing and barking few years ago I had a dog come up to me when I was sitting with my friends dog while they enjoyed the water and started to try and accident her and the owner was trying to make it my fault cuz I did not live up in tahoe knowing it a hot spot of visitors and mine was on a leash calmly sitting next to me and letting someone know when it happened was hard to find anyone had to walk into one of the shops at the time to tell someone

Zephyr Cove is a fantastic destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. Located on the east shore of Lake Tahoe, this area offers easy access to the lake's pristine waters and a variety of recreational activities The day use area is adjacent to Zephyr Cove Resort, providing convenient amenities such as restrooms, picnic tables, and a beach bar and grill. Whether you're interested in boating, parasailing, kayaking, or simply relaxing on the beach, Zephyr Cove has something for everyone. The scenic beauty of Lake Tahoe is unparalleled, and Zephyr Cove is no exception. The clear blue waters and surrounding mountains create a picturesque setting perfect for photography and relaxation.
