Racist waiter works here please be mindful if your Latino/ Hispanic!
If I could give it a minus zero I would! If you are having a family vacation with a big group go somewhere else please specifically if you are Latino/ Hispanic! Our family were very excited to visit Lake Tahoe and we decided to stop at this restaurant because we wanted to give this place a chance but we regret it so much, a family time was disgracefully ruined!
This place has staff that is very racist and unprofessional specifically a young lady thin dark skin ( we didn’t get her name). As soon as we got to the restaurant which it was completely empty we weren’t acknowledged! We sat down and she seemed overwhelmed because it was a big group which it’s understandable! So we let it fly! The female waiter took our order for drinks! We waited and waited and we noticed other people that came way later than us being served and not us! Not even water, nothing we were there waiting for about 30mns plus to get our water and coffee. The waiter seemed very bothered by us asking for the basics such as sugar and silverware, which is common sense to have on the table at a restaurant! We asked and she rudely said that it was only her so we needed to wait and when she did bring us sugar she rudely tossed it on the table! My sister in law ask for something and she said she had only “two hands” meaning she was busy and abruptly raise her two hands and shook her hands to make a statement like we were stupid! She was low level trashy talking to us! My nephew told her she didn’t have to be so rude and she responded- “you want me to be rude I can be rude”. This was where all of us felt this place wasn’t good and the staff was far from professional and racist! We decided to leave! One of the chefs came outside to try to solve the issue and make it better for us so we decided to give it another chance because never in our life have we experienced this type of disgusting behavior at a restaurant, but as we tried to go inside again, the same waiter stopped us and told us in front of all the guest coming in, we were not allowed to come inside after the chef had just spoken to us that they were going to try to make a better experience/ it got from being a bad experience to being an embarrassment, horrible and racist situation in front of the people coming to the restaurant! How is it that everyone was treated attentively but we were treated lowest to the low at a restaurant for speaking another language! Unacceptable and disgusting behavior! The manager came to help us but at this point we were all very confused and shocked because our vacation date with our family got ruined by a young lady that felt entitled and better than us! Plus my sister in law had a panic attack outside due to the escalation of the situation and how sad she felt this was happening to us after planning this for a long time!
Poor management because a good professional manager wouldn’t hire this type of staff

I am deeply saddened and disappointed to write this review about my recent experience at this restaurant. The blatant display of discrimination and racism towards non-American customers was shocking and completely unacceptable.
The staff seemed to have a preconceived notion that only American customers deserved their attention and respect. This was evident in the way they prioritized serving American customers over others, and the stark difference in their attitude and behavior towards non-Americans was hard to ignore.
The waitstaff were not only unprofessional but also openly racist. They made jokes and comments in English, assuming we wouldn't understand, which was not only disrespectful but also deeply offensive. It's disheartening to see such behavior in a place that should be welcoming to all, regardless of their nationality or race.
There was a bald gentleman in particular who was extremely rude and disrespectful. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also discriminatory. It's a shame that such individuals are allowed to represent a restaurant that should be promoting inclusivity and respect for all its customers.
The management needs to take immediate action to address this issue. It's crucial to ensure that the staff are trained to treat all customers equally and with respect, regardless of their nationality or race. Such discriminatory behavior can severely tarnish the restaurant's reputation and deter potential customers.

I am writing this review with a heavy heart as I had high expectations from this restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The treatment towards foreigners was appalling, to say the least.
