If I could give this place 0 stars I would! This place is a scam. They checked your jet skis(we rented 2 jet skis) and said good to go! When we returned after 1 hour which was the time limit, they checked our skis and said one was damaged and one was fine and checked this one in. They asked us to speak to the manager Jay, who took his own sweet time to come and meet us. He was chatting with some guys despite being called on the walkies by his employees. It was half an hour and needed to be called twice on the walkie come and meet us (of course we didn't know he was Jay the manager till he came over). There were some scratches on the back apparently that noone could barely see they were miniscule and we had to pay $250 to cover that. The reason they gave was that the fiberglass chip and accussed us of colliding with each other. We denied it and said if their was a collision then wouldn't the other jet ski be damaged? And he said oh yes there is damage on the other one too! Our bill was to be $500 in damages plus the rental fee. They brought out the second jet ski which was apparently damaged in the back! How would 2 jet skis collide with their backs to each other? After a lot of back and forth with Jay, he said he would charge us only for 1 as if it was a great favour to us! At that point we were frustrated enough to say let's just forget this and pay the total bill of $630. It is pretty awful to be accused of something we didn't do and ruined our experience with them! Even though it was my first time on their jet skis I will never go back and I wanted to warn everyone about them. TL;DR : Save yourself some money and the energy it takes to defend yourself against something you wouldn't do and go to any other rental place even if you have to drive a bit more. To the management: if you see this and if you want to reply to this and justify your end, please don't bother. We have wasted enough time and money dealing with you and...

Rented a Jet Ski and got out in the water at 3:40. Jet Ski breaks down (check engine light, won’t start) at 3:48 and I call in. Took them about 30 minutes to find us (mile out from the peninsula to the left, ), but the girl was pretty nice. Her Jet Ski towing us back starts overheating and then we wait for a boat to come grab us. They had a few newer jet skis at the launch, but I guess they decided this one was the best option. I’d question how well they maintain their vehicles.

We get back to shore at 4:50 and after my girlfriend and I decide that we don’t want to go back out, we walk up to the office. The guy managing the box office, who I assume is the manager, never comes over to apologize and only offers that he won’t charge us. I mean, obviously you’re not going to charge us, that’s doing the care minimum. Most people would probably argue for a comped ride or voucher, but just an apology would have been cool. As a sales manager myself, his lack of business ownership was a little shocking. We left without an argument.

Not sure what the standard is, but perhaps anyone looking here for a rental might want to check a shop with higher quality maintenance and a manager who cares about the business. It’s a 2 star instead 1 purely because the girl...

PARASAILORS BEWARE!! Please read so that if you decide to rent here you get the most from your hard earned dollar because they will take a lot of it here. Parasailing fees are SUPPOSED to be for an hour long. Ten minutes in the air and the rest boating around the lake. This was NOT our case. We had a 1pm slot. My son and inlaw were flying and we paid $179 for their flight plus $105 for my nephew, myself and my husband to ride along on the boat and watch- total bill $279.. Long story short- we stepped foot back on the dock at 1:24pm. We couldn't believe what had just happened!! A total if 24 minutes from start to finish!! I did go to the sales office and got there at 1:27. Verified again that the event was to last an hour in all. The blonde manager in charge walked around it with every excuse as to why we only were out there for a short time..i wasn't buying it. We were only refunded the $105 observer fee. So in short- we paid $179 for a 24 min total air/boat time plus we also had to pay $5 gas fee and $10 parking fee. Plus tips for the drivers! Make sure you get your 1 full hours worth of time. We did not and I settled on a $105 refund. There will not be a next time at this place for us. Just beware if you go- hold them to their hour that you paid...

Ahoy, all aboard the 'Steam Engine Chic' boat! The bathrooms are so clean, you could eat off the floors – but please don't. It's a Zen-like 2-hour round trip with nary a rock or roll, making it seasickness-proof. Brr, it's chilly in November, but never fear – the cafe is here, serving up warmth in the form of food, coffee, and the good ol' hard stuff. The shuttle? Faster than a speeding bullet. Boarding? Quicker than a hiccup. The entrance photo is a nice touch, but at 45 bucks, it's like they snapped it with a golden camera. If you're looking for a laid-back jaunt, this is your ticket. Just don't expect an intergalactic adventure. Kids will love it, but for adults, a Benjamin per head feels a tad steep – especially when it doesn't even include a downloadable memory! Missed opportunity for some snazzy marketing, if you ask me.

We haven't visited South lake Tahoe in years. It was always a favorite and then over development and changes. No more hard rock, Harvey's was bought by Harrah's and Caesars became fountinbleau. The Marriots development was nice at the State line, it did improve on old property and buildings, but the crowds. Geez. Anyways the old buildings keep being demolished. The old lakeside casino is no more. Going east from state line towards Carson City Nevada is the beautiful area of zephyr cove. The beaches of South lake Tahoe. The unhindered trails to lakes and vistas. One of our favorite homes along interstate 50 is this one home. They always decorate for the holidays. Travel to South lake Tahoe would not be complete until you visit zephyr cove the beaches, small restaurants and forests. I will be posting more photos

Everything in Tahoe is a money suck (not the Marinas problem)......but! We were given multiple different answers to the same questions. Either Marina attendants were lining thier pockets or they really didn't know answers to questions. For instance; when asking attendants if we could dock our personal jetskis we were told yes all day for free, but have to get them out by sunset. The next day we were told that we were only allowed to dock up to a few hours at a time. They then allowed us to anchor on thier anchors but we only had a few hours (the day before they told us it was $200 a day to use.) When docking we were generally ignored with the exception of Megan. Shout out to her helpfulness on a very busy Saturday!
