Neway Mattress — Attraction in South Ogden

I simply cannot recommend Neway enough! We purchased a Sleep Number mattress about 6 weeks ago and have just not been happy with it at all, so we made the decision yesterday to return it and get something different. We thought we may want to try a Helix, so I looked around and found that the closest place we could see them was in Ogden so we drove up from SLC today to take a look. We are so glad that we did.

Toby could not have been nicer or more helpful. It's so clear that he's very knowledgeable and just wants his customers to find the right mattress for them. He talked us through a bunch of mattresses and, after trying a dozen or so, we ended up purchasing a Brooklyn Bedding mattress. Toby was not pressuring us at all and we told him what we were looking for and he gave us several options and some explanations as to why. During the process of trying out mattresses, we also found that we really liked one of the pillows that was out on a mattress, so we were thrilled to learn that we could purchase one from Toby as well.

When it came time to purchase, we were shocked to learn that he is honoring the Labor Day sales prices of his mattresses (in late October), so we got it on a discount. Plus, as part of a promotion, he covered the sales tax and gave us at no cost a sheet set, a mattress protector, and two cooling pillowcases. We were truly blown away with how easy the process was and how pleasant it was to work with Toby. It's also great to support a local, family-owned business. I will be recommending Neway to every person I know in the market for a new mattress....

Even though the address of this NEWay is on Washington Boulevard, you cannot access it from the main drag. Heading south, you must turn right on 37th which is not well marked, turn right again to access 36th, turn right again to access their parking lot. Thank goodness for smart phones! It was well worth the challenge. The family business is well stocked with a nice variety of mattresses, representing local manufacturers, some recognizable and well known brands and others I hadn't heard of. They believe local mattress companies will be more responsive to customer's service needs. Kyler and his father were good listeners, knowledgeable, very friendly and no pressure. They offer very competitive prices and a 4 month trial period. If we need to return it, there is no restocking fee like the hundreds of dollars other stores quoted us. Other stores told us they use a separate contractor to deliver and set up the bed which sometimes runs into communication problems between what the store tells us they will dispose of and what the contractor is actually willing to take away. Neway does their own delivering, setup and disposal and was willing to take all the parts of our old Sleepnumber. I also liked their calm background music. Went and seen Toby as a friend recommended. He was friendly and knowledgeable, after looking at several mattresses I decided I liked the Plank king size. However I really couldn't afford it, Toby said he had a Plank that a customer ordered and later didn't want and he'd sell it at a lower price, so a couple of weeks later I bought it. It was delivered a few days later however it didn't exactly fit my bed frame the mattress was smaller (I wasn't complaining I just thought I was wrong on the size of my frame) so Tony one of the delivery guys unbeknownst to me called Toby and told him. Awhile later that day I received a call from Toby explaining the situation that the matress I bought was a custom ordered mattress for an RV, and he ordered a new mattress for me. This man went above and beyond service by making something right without me even realizing it was wrong. Thank you Toby and Tony for hookin a girl up with the perfect matress and a good nights sleep!
