For those saying the staff was friendly I must of went to the wrong restaurant. I took my family there while we were headed back from vacation from up north because I've eaten there before and liked the food. As we ordered our food it was already a bad start the waitress was getting frustrated with our questions as we ordered and was showing it. After a long while of waiting she brings out a sizzling hot plate of shrimp with soy sauce something we did not order hovering over my infants head and spilling it on my wife's lap. My wife yelped and jumped saying ouch you burnt me bad which was responded with eyes rolled clearly fake apology. They also did not bring out food we ordered. Very upset by this service I asked to speak to the supervisor and I explained everything that happened and how the waitress spilt very hot soy sauce on my wife his response was Chinese food is hot tell her to get over it. After being very angry at this response I asked for the next person in charge after refusing to give me one finally a customer told me who to contact he came from the Roy location and his response was well I can give you 10% off your order. I'm very disappointed with how they treated me I understand accidents happen and I wasn't looking for anything more then an apology and was treated...
Read moreThere are a few unique things about this place. DRIVE-THRU freshly made sushi rolls for one! (Which means you do have to expect to sit in your car for a while, but in the age of covid it makes a real difference in my choice of where to get sushi and other Japanese food.)
And the number of their rolls have actual snow crab (as opposed to fake "krab"). There's another on the menu advertised as Alaskan king crab I want to try soon. Not things I've seen on many sushi menus.
And they're open on Sunday! Wonder of wonders in Ogden.
Note that they do not have small orders of nigiri or sashimi at the Ogden location. They do at the Roy location which is more of a restaurant, although they're only doing takeout for now (Jan. 21).
They have a huge menu and that means is going to be some misses among the hits. This is my third time there and I'm learning what I think their strong points are. Your tastes may vary.
PS: They have excellent fried wontons and good edamame.

Read moreYummy Food, Rude Service... we ordered 2 rolls each, a sashimi, and rice using Doordash. Not a big order at all. Over an hour of waiting, I finally called the restaurant because our DD driver stopped responding to our texts. The person who answered the phone at the restaurant was short, rude, and they hung up on me for just asking, nicely mind you, what the status of our order was at that time. I called back and was practically chewed out by another cashier.
I ended up calling Doordash, trying to locate our driver/the whereabouts of our order, and I was informed it was not their fault. The restaurant had taken forever and the driver was also treated like s* by the cashier/server(s) apparently, for no reason. Doordash did just fine; refunded a $79.00 order for $65.00 just for our trouble. Finally, the order arrived, the food was good... just... disappointed by how poorly we were treated...
