South Ogden Nature Park & Splash Pad — Attraction in South Ogden

This is a nice park. We were very disappointed to show up and have the water off though. We had looked online before arriving and thought the water was being used on a limited basis, but posted signs when we arrived stated it was off completely for this year. The playsets here are very kid friendly and the best part is the shade hung above the play equipment. The pavilion is also really big and there is a stone seat amphitheater a short walk from the park that we have...

This is a great park if you like dry splash pads. They shut it off during the drought which is wise and understandable, but apparently they quite liked the lack of maintenance they had to do during the drought and decided to continue to not turn on the water. Went by a few weeks ago and they still had it all taped off and no water...

I took my granddaughter here (who is autistic as well as having other special needs,) she had a blast at splash pad. It was a little busy on a Saturday due to the two birthday parties going on, but there was still a little place for us to sit at the tables. And I absolutely love that the playgrounds are covered and shaded...
