South Park Fairgrounds — Attraction in South Park Township

While the track is nice to walk, many of the surrounding structures are rundown and crumbling apart. This is still a great location to hold events like Rib Fest, but they don’t use this location to its fullest. Sadly, even the access roads are now closed, from Sesqui Drive, or full of potholes, from Brownsville Road. South Park has so much to offer, but the county has neglected it for a long time, clearly pouring its money into North Park since that’s where all the wealthy people live...

the fairgrounds are a great place for running, there's a track, a big field, a bunch of steps if you like to run steps. I've been there a hundred times but i have never actually been to a fair or event at it. during the day there are horses around the barn sometimes and they will come up to the fence so you can see them up close. don't feed them though i believe they are on...
