A bit out-of-the-way, but an enjoyable dog park nonetheless. They have a feature here I haven't seen at many other dog parks: a doggie jungle gym for getting your pet used to agility courses. The variety of dogs here (especially at the small dog area) was good. The other people at the dog park were nice and we exchanged friendly words with some. The dogs seem to have a fun time here and have no qualms about running full-blast around and across the dirt. Oh yes: the dirt. I docked one star for the mostly dirt surface. Grass is much preferred, for dog and human both. Also not a big fan of one side of the dog park fence being fairly close to the road, but I guess it's only an issue if the pooches can break out, which they probably won't. Recommended if you're passing through and want your dog to interact with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis isn't even a park. I don't know where the 5 star reviews are coming from. I want my dog to play in a dog park which the "park" makes it hard to do. The small dog area is so tiny and since the ground is all dirt and dust it's hard for my dog to run around. Plus there's a giant pointless "play structure" that takes up a lot of the already minimal room. Dogs don't have fun by walking across a play structure, they have fun by running around with their friends and sniffing the grass. My extremely playful 1 year old puppy tried to play but eventually gave up. Other people I've asked seemed to have the same problem. It might be clean but it entirely missed the actual purpose of a dog park. At the very least change the...

It can be difficult to find parking in the small area, shared with other sports facilities. Thereās no sun coverage. best time is early morning and at sunset.
Bigger dogs play rougher in the larger adjoining play area, but there is always someone to break up the scuffles that are bound to happen when dogs are rough housing.
SUGGESTION: Speak up! If you see a dog pooping, call it to the attention of the owner. Itās a privilege to have this...
