The bestie and I continued our wholesome touristy day by going to the Michael Myers house which I forgot was in Pasadena. What we didn’t know when looking for the house that next door was this absolutely fantastic horror gallery that specialized in all things Halloween and Michael Myers. It was a perfect happy accident! We strolled inside and were greeted by a lovely worker behind a desk. She explained all about the gallery and let us know that for $15/person we could go behind the curtain and see more about the making and the history of the movie. So of course we did and it was totally worth the money. They had terrifyingly creepy mannequins of Michael along with masks and audio playing from the movie and of course the iconic movie score. There was also Hocus Pocus artwork and Halloween themed art from other artists. We went out back and saw where they had movies under the stars throughout the year. We took a lot of pictures doing ridiculous poses with the mannequins. We had to do it. We came back inside and chatted with the young woman working. She filled us in on other events and all of the fun stuff planned for September and October. I cannot wait! Well done, SugarMynt!

First off I was very disappointed, not with anything here. More disappointed that I didn't find out about this place sooner! I went to the Dexter exhibit and I really enjoyed it. I even bought an incredible piece of art. I went back to pick it up and was able to walk around while I waited. The exhibits are awesome without a doubt yet that's not the only thing to love about this place. The Lady that runs this place is incredibly warm, welcoming and very much a nerd in the horror culture. I will definitely keep going back and I will keep looking for that next piece to add to my collection. Thank you ladies for a great time all your articles and achievements are well deserved!!!

I had the greatest time once again at the Halloween opening here. Been to 5 of the shows. Amazing art. All unique and best artists. Always have to buy a piece. The gallery has The original props from Halloween 2018 and Halloween kills. The other original props are from Hocus Pocus, BTS photos from Halloween 1 and 2. Where could you ever find any place that would have this? SugarMynt Gallery always have great things to see and buy. Will be back again several times next 2 months. I also love the year round shows also. All I can say is “Fantastic “ Halloween time is finally here.

Absolutely loved our trip to SugarMynt! We spent the week in Pasadena for a couple festivals and decided to try to find something on our way back from hiking around the abandoned LA zoo. We wanted to find something "haunted" and discovered this horror museum located directly next to the original Michael Myers house. We loved it. There's some great art pieces, many that are for sale from the artists. (I'm fighting the urge to pick up a piece that I absolutely loved.) They have multiple themed rooms and some great original scripts, props, and behind the scenes photos from various iconic spooky films. The owner was a lot of fun and I could've spent all day talking with her and her father who was there at the time. Great people and a great spot! They also provide a postcard with walking directions so you can walk around Pasadena and see all the iconic filming locations from Halloween including the Strode house, the hardware store (now a restaurant) and more. Very glad we decided to stop by and check it out! I have a friend who's a big horror buff so next time she's in California for a show and we're up near LA, I'll be taking her here too. If you're a fan of the spooky, Halloween, and great art, I highly recommend checking it out. It's also half a block off a quaint main street that has a ton of cool shops and we ended up enjoying the whole...
