South Portland Historical Society — Attraction in South Portland

Maine was a bucket list state for us when we arrived to Portland, and the South Portland historical society really did a great job to give us much of the history of the area to appreciate what we were looking at. Seth was kind enough to give us all his favorite stories and tales of Portland, we got our history in take and was able to recall lots of fun facts as we explored the area. Highly recommend coming to South Portland Historical Society to get a great point of view historically of the land. This museum, known as the South Portland Historical Museum and alternatively as the Cushing's Point Museum, is staffed by local volunteers. There's a small gift shop and several displays.
