Great little dive bar near the ocean! Tons of FREE / EASY/ SAFE parking! Walkable to a tiny beach and Spring Point Bug lighthouse. Awesome Live music, from Surf Sunday’s to metal nites!!!🤘 Their booking gal Nancy , gets THE COOLEST bands from NYC, Japan, Boston and right here in Portland, Maine. PLUS! A Super rad DJ - Matt Little, from our local alternative station, WMPG!!! The food isn’t fancy, but it’s your typical FF at a bar. This isn’t fancy old port food.. Chicken wings, nugs, fries and righteous jalapeño poppers! Good prices and a nice staff! Just be patient standing at the bar for your drinks, and your food order, because they get jamming in there! Definitely check them out if you’re looking for a dive bar, rock & roll adventure in the Portland, Maine area. Come across the bridge! We are friendly & fun!!! And as always, don’t forget to tip your bartender *** and the bands on Surf Sunday! 🏄‍♀️ 🌊 ⚓️ They live off those tips. 💗

Staff is nice, drinks are cheap, and the food was decent. I wish they had been playing game sound for the Pats game, but I think there was a birthday party raging in the back of the bar - definitely understand that they had more important things going on.

The haddock sandwich was fantastic. Crispy and tasted great. Too big for one sitting but maybe plan to take half home? Or they could cut the portion and the price a little, but either way it was still terrific.

Burger was packed too dense and cooked well done (they didn't ask about temp), but somehow still tasted pretty good, and came with solid fixins. Fries and onion rings were 10/10!

They mentioned that they had just hired a brand new cook, so looking forward to coming back and trying...

This is among the most confusing dive bars in (greater) Portland. It's effectively on the SMCC campus, but is in absolutely no apparent way a "college bar." Its general vibe is a perpetually dark, quiet, locals-only sort of dive that makes considerably more sense as a community staple in a working class neighborhood, yet it's effectively on the campus of an immaculate community college and mere steps from postcard-worthy views and a beach teeming with affluent tourists flocking to Air BnBs in some of the area's most expensive real estate. Is it the "last great holdout" for "real locals?" Is it an investor's elaborate ruse to keep the lot's property value down? Will you get 86'd if you try to order an imported beer? Who knows! Karaoke...
