Yes, this is a nice little park area. There is a waterfall, a short trail, an open grassy area to walk around, play frisbee or soccer or whatever, take your dogs for walks (this is NOT a dog park). There is a large covered shelter with electricity and picnic tables, and there are restrooms open between May and October. This is such a small space, I wouldn't consider it a park really. More like a parklette, an Instagram photo of a park, a postcard of a park. I can't give it 5 stars as a park because it's not really a park in my opinion, it's more like a rest stop where you get out and pee, and say "Where the heck are we?" and get back in the car. Maybe it's like a rest stop with flair, like with glitter or jazz hands....The waterfall is a popular spot for senior or wedding pictures and such. It would be a nice place to have lunch to get away from one of the many soul sucking call centers that are nearby. Amica, Sears, Faneuil just to name 3. Their employees come to this patch of green land to make out with their work mistresses, smoke a desperate cigarette and hork down the lunch they bought from one of the circulating food trucks. (The Chinese food truck is the best!) Anyway, so if you are in the area and have a lunch...

Nice lawns, great shade trees, outer sidewalks and pets on leashes allowed-,to be a decent pet owner, bring 'goodie' bags & clean up after your pets, as I don't recall right off seeing those pet stations that have them. There isn't a real large number of direct parking spaces right at the parks edge, but there is additional parking across the roadway- which I believe is all free-at least I hope lol if not, I'm sorry lol) parents should escort kids, cuz it was a little iffy for me crossing due to the middle having planted bushes restricting visibility of any oncoming traffic! I've wondered why money time and water was wasted for center beautification when the 1st time a human is hit, trust me , all Beauty removed instantly! I think they could find a more worthy use of that money ,but,it is pretty & is there so be aware. Stay afr and enjoy it is a...
Read moreDuring the spring and summer I visit Mirabeau Park almost daily. The picnic area has plenty of well maintained lawn and shade trees. There are hiking trails throughout the park. The man made water fall is a great place to sit and read a book. There is also a senior center, YMCA, and children's playground. The parking is free. If you are up for a longer walk or bike ride the Centennial Trail is right across the street. It's a great place to walk your dog but please keep your pet on a leash and clean up after your pet. The park is also the site for the annual Valleyfest celebration. There are no food vendors or places to eat in the park so bring...
