Do not book this venue. We had our wedding reception here and it couldn’t have been more stressful than it was here. Carol, the coordinator was disrespectful, rude and nearly impossible to work with. Any time we would email or call for a question she would reply with a threat to take away our damage deposit, every single time she made it very obvious she just wanted our money and wasn’t there to help us at all. There were many times my husband and I considered canceling the whole reception because she made everything so stressful and disappointing. She would go back and forth on her word so it was extremely difficult to plan anything, she even went as far as to tell us what we could and couldn’t say at our reception, everything was so controlled and she told us we couldn’t bring in snack foods for two toddlers which the caterer had told us we could. They didn’t seem to communicate with each other before telling us their decisions because they were always completely opposite. Carol continually tried to make us feel guilty for not providing our guests with dinner because we had decided to do just desserts because the food their caterer provided was very disappointing and way overly priced. We couldn’t justify paying $3000 for appetizers for some of the worst food we’ve ever had but still ended up paying hundreds of dollars just for drinks . Jessica the catering manager was very accommodating and respectful we were just very disappointed with the food options but she was very helpful with informing us on what we could bring for dessert and was always helpful and so was everyone else we came in contact with who worked here except for Carol. It ruined what was supposed to be a great experience for us and it was nothing like what we wanted our wedding day to be. Just in case she didn’t threaten us enough throughout the whole planning process she did a couple times the day of our reception too. It is extremely expensive, the hidden fees in the fine print make it even worse, the staff was extremely rude.

They could not care less about the people paying to use this facility which is nice and clean. The only reason it is not one star. If you use this place for an event do not expect the cost to be the price that they quote you and do not expect to get your deposit back. You should expect the staff to tell you lies and to be extremely rude and you should expect to pay far more than you expect for that privilege. There are many libraries in the community that have equally clean and nice facilities to use for the same purposes and those are free. The same goes for many restaurants in the area that can meet this need better than CenterPlace with a much better attitude. There are also other meeting spaces that are also nice and clean and they are also far less expensive. These are city employees that treat customers like an annoyance. It looks good on paper, it is a nice idea but the reality is CenterPlace costs more per hour than any other any other option and for paying that premium price you don't get the bare minimum from the staff, in fact you get the opposite. You get told lies and they much rather give you a huge attitude than deliver on bare minimum like working markers, a clean white board, or return your deposit. I wish this was a good place to do business, but it isn't. I'll never host another...

We had our wedding here and couldn’t be happier. Staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. The upper management is VERY kind and helpful as well which is HUGE. Thank you everyone at center place for making our day great.

The place itself is beautiful. Very open, spacious, and easy to accommodate any amount of guests. We had over 300 people.

Natasha did an incredible job with food, all of our guests raved about the food, and we come from a culture of LOTS of delicious home cooked food and recipes.

The huge screen they have there along with the sound system is awesome. Super professional and well prepared.

The scenery and surrounding outside environment is PERFECT for photography. Wow, we got ridiculously beautiful shots, also in part to our wedding photographer Elina Zhukov in Spokane.
